I am pleased that I was contacted as I have been meaning to contact your office however I never seem to find the time. The cottage was suitable and the location was good. The cottage should have been cleaned much better prior to our arrival as it was noticeably untidy in the main floor location. My main concern was that the oven did not work properly. We had 6 men with pre-made meal which required heating by the oven. This was extremely frustrating!!!

We have rented this cottage for two years. It is very private and well equipped. The area is perfect for day trips and the local beach is sandy and beautiful. We felt that it was not quite as clean this year as in the past but feel confident that the owners will fix that now that we have written a note. We would recommend this cottage to young families that are comfortable with a short drive to the beach.

On behalf of the owners we would like to apologize for the cottage not being up to the cleaning standards. It is an ongoing challenge for us to control the build up of bugs around the windows, especially if the outdoor lights are left on at night.

My family came to this cottage with our friends and their children. We had the best time! This is a fantatic place to bring small children. They had enough room to play and never got bored, especially when we took them to the beach which was minutes away. The beach was amazing highly recommended. The cottage itself was cozy, comfortable and super clean!! We recommend this cottage to anyone, we cannot wait to go back, what a fabulous vacation for my family and my friends, thanks for letting us experience it!!! The Millers & The Ryckmans

Well kept newer cottage in a great location. Cottage has privacy and is very close to an amazing quieter beach and a short drive to Lions Head. I found the cottage excellent for my two children (6 Month and a 5 Year Old), wife, mother in law and our European guests.
This is our second year renting, with high recommendations. Location is ideal, many items to see in the area with a short drive. The Euros where very impressed with Canadian Cottage Life.
Items to see in area include the beach, Lions Head, lots of lighthouses in the area, Tobermory, Cypress Lake, etc. (Google Searches) we found that a week was not enough time to see everything we wanted.
My recommendation is go. Cottage is very well equipped, and have fun.

The house was great. Very clean home, open spaces, lots of room, big kitchen. Very comfortable.
The beach close by (short driving distance) was okay. But even in July (2008), the water was cold and in general we spent a cold week. We have kids, so we had hoped for lots of swimming and beach time, but because of the chilly temperatures, that didn't happen.
However, great walks around the area, and the house had a nice backyard, patio and fire pit.
