Description from the manager
Cottage Profile Very open, three bedroom, 1000 square foot cottage located on the inland Miller Lake, halfway up the Bruce Peninsula, just North of Lion's Head. The main living area is an open space, with living room, kitchen, and dining room all located in this one space. The living area has two sofas and a loveseat to relax in after a day of exploring the area. The gas fireplace is a delight on those chilly evenings, and the television with DVD is the perfect distraction if you happen to get some nasty weather. Mulitple windows in this area, make for a nice bright place to relax inside the cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge,...Read more

London, ONHad a Great Time!
Left on 10/23/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay! The wine was a lovely surprise and made for a nice welcome. The location was quiet and fairly private. It was close to many amenities...a short drive to several places of interest. We visited Tobermory, Bruce Caves, The Grotto, Wiarton, Lion's Head, Singing Sands Beach and more!

Our trip was fantastic! We head to Tobermory area every year in Sept and are looking forward to next sept already.
The Cove Holiday was great. We had 6 adults and 2 dogs and we still had lots of room, good little yard in the back!!
RentCottage.com was very helpful in booking this cottage for us and would recommend them and this cottage highly! -

Burlington, OntarioA Great Place to Stay
Left on 06/25/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We enjoyed our time at The Cove. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cutlery. However, we could have used fewer frying pans (8) and more pots - there was really only one of the right size.
The beds were comfortable. While we had no need of it, there was a gas fireplace/stove in the livingroom that would have been perfect for a wet, cool night. Fortunately, we had great weather for our stay.
At the back is a large lawn ending in a treed area with lots of wild flowers. The deck is open and there is a lot of seating available.
The Bruce Peninsula is a beautiful place to visit; great scenery; lots of natural areas to explore. We saw deer, a Black Bear, a Porcipine, and rabbits while driving the back roads. We were located at a point where it was easy to get to everyplace we wanted to go to.
Be sure to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, water and sandwich bags. Ant traps would alos be a good idea. -

Stoney Creek, OntarioSummer Vacation 2008
Left on 02/02/2009 for a stay in July 2008
We really enjoyed the week we stayed at this cottage. It's been a number of years since we rented a property and couldn't believe how much we missed getting away to the Bruce Peninsula.
There's never any surprises since the property rental company always provides an excellent representation of the property on their website. We loved the open concept and the privacy with all the amenities of home. The backyard was beautiful and relaxing. There's lake access near by. We loved the sense of community and had an opportunity to meet some other residents on our walks. All in all we loved the area and would rent that cottage again.
