Description from the manager
Cottage Profile This two bedroom cottage is located on beautiful Dyers Bay, one row back from the lake . Two convenient public waterfront access points are located close by. The first is the Dyers Bay Government Dock and Boat Launch. This is a great area for swimming and diving into the clear blue waters of Georgian Bay. Or as its name suggests you can launch a small to medium size boat and go out for some fantastic trout and salmon fishing. Just 500 metres down the road is an area the locals call the "Flat Rocks", a neat shoreline consisting of large flat rock plates that step out into the lake. Dyers Bay is a quiet and scenic diversion away from the summer bustle of Tobermory. The Lambert cottage was very well kept and surprisingly a lot bigger inside that we'd expected from the photos. We had a great stay with our family.

I rented this cottage with three friends, and we had a great time. We did a lot of hiking on the Bruce Trail, we often went swimming in the cold clear water of Georgian Bay, which is a natural wonder, we sat on the government dock and watched the stars, I did some bicycling to the lighthouse up the road. What we particularly like was sitting in the backyard with a fire in the evening, chatting. The cottage is well equipped, with lots of firewood. We had no problems or issues, and the owner lived next door. We saw rattlesnakes on the Bruce Trail, which was exciting. Dyers Bay is a fairly isolated community of cottages, which makes the perfect getaway for communion with nature and the cosy was very reasonable.
