Cottage Profile Beautifully built, 2000 square foot, waterfront cottage located at Pleasant Harbour on the shores of Lake Huron. A major prominent feature of this cottage is the natural limestone construction used both on the interior and exterior of the building. The large living room is designed with natural limestone floors, stone fireplace with a propane insert , exposed British Columbia fir beams and large double wide patio doors with a great view of the lake. Furnishings in the living room consist of two couches and a number of chairs, plenty of reading lamps, a television with satellite hookup, DVD, VCR and stereo system. Wireless Inte...rnet is also provided. The patio doors from the living room lead out to a large lake side deck, that looks out over the wide open water of Lake Huron. Patio furniture makes it the perfect place to sit and unwind. Children should be well supervised on this deck as it only has anchor chains for railings. For your cooking enjoyment the cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave and adequate cupboard and counter space. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room with a natural wood table that comfortably seats eight. One of the really nice features of this cottage is the bedroom/sitting area. You enter the room through sliding glass doors and see three walls of floor-to-ceiling windows which provide a great view of the grounds and out over the water. In this room you will find a double bed, chest of drawers, chair and side table. Sliding glass doors lead out to the lake side deck with panoramic views of the water. On the main floor you will also find a four piece bathroom with separate shower. One the second floor you will find the laundry room complete with washer and dryer.. A unique feature of this cottage are the two sets of stairs that provide access to the second floor. One set leads to the master bedroom which has a queen bed, a double pull out couch, a two piece ensuite bathroom, and patio doors that lead out to a large deck that provides a spectacular view of Lake Huron. The view from this deck is remarkable. The second bedroom is a colorful room with one single bed and a bunk bed with a single bed on the top and a double bed on the bottom. The cottage is located on a point of land jutting out into Lake Huron. The setting is very private with no neighbours in view. The road side of the cottage has a large grassy area for children to play. The shoreline at the cottage is composed of variety of settings from small cliff faces to flat limestone beach which supplies a gradual entry into the lake. Swim shoes are recommended. Two sit-on-top kayaks are available for your family's enjoyment during your stay (remember to bring your life jackets!). There is a nice sand beach at Bradley Harbour a 10 minute drive south. The cottage is centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula only 20 minutes drive from the fishing villages of Lion's Head and Tobermory, the Bruce Trail, Bruce Peninsula National Park and the spectacular cliffs of Georgian Bay.
