Cottage Profile This lovely three-bedroom, 1300 square foot cottage, is located on the shores of Lake Huron in the Whiskey Harbour Area. A sleeping cabin is also located on this waterfront lot. The cottage is located on a large private lot with over 400 feet of lake frontage. A wooden boardwalk leads from the cottage down to a lakeside deck which contains lounge chairs. From this vantage point you can enjoy an excellent view of Lake Huron and evening sunsets. This cottage was a delight, had everything you need,except kettle, masterbedroom very comfy, water very shallow for quite away out. Very private and serene. Sleeping cabin not suitable as mildew scent prevented us from using it even though the appearance of the cabin was clean and neat. Waves were quite high at times which prevented us from kayaking as much as we would have liked, sunsets were spectacular!

We had a wonderful week staying at this fully equipped cottage in Lion's Head. The cottage is located at the end of a quiet road, and both my husband and I had the chance to unwind-reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, riding the supplied bicycles, sitting down at the dock for morning coffee and afternoon sunsets, and sitting by the fire at night. After the relaxing days, it was wonderful to have the sound of the waves lull us to sleep in the very comfortable king size bed. Our only disappointment was we did not find a suitable swimming area until the last day.
