Cottage Profile Executive, spacious 2400 sq ft cottage with three bedrooms, located on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron! This cottage is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city without leaving behind the comforts and amenities of home. Plus, you'll see some breathtaking sunsets right from the cottage deck! Inside in the main living area of the cottage you'll notice the large windows reaching up to the cathedral-style ceiling, and the dramatic floor-to-ceiling wood burning fireplace. Comfortable furniture to unwind in includes a sofa, loveseat and armchair. The television comes with satellite, a DVD player, and a VCR -... which can be a great distraction on a rainy day. The kitchen at the cottage is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher as well as an island with two bar stools for you to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. There is ample counter and cupboard space, which helps to make your holiday cooking a little easier, and makes room for some help for the cook in the family. A large dining room with seating for all six in the party allows your group to enjoy a sit down family meal together. Just off the kitchen is a great feature this property has to offer - a screened-in sun porch. Catch the lakeside breeze while taking a break from the afternoon sun, or sit out here to enjoy the cool night air but escape any pesky bugs. This is a room everyone in your party will enjoy. There are three bedrooms in this cottage. The master bedroom, located upstairs, has a queen bed and an ensuite three-piece bathroom with shower. This room also features heated floors and a private deck with a stunning view of Pine Tree Harbour. Just adjacent to the bedroom is the loft area with comfortable seating and a television. You can sit here and unwind while taking in the stunning views from the windows. On the main level there are two bedrooms - one with a queen size bed and the other with a queen and a single bed. There is a four-piece bathroom on the main floor of the cottage. Outside of the cottage is a stunning 1000 square foot lakeview deck, complete with a deck-glass railing that provides an unobstructed view of Lake Huron. Down at the shoreline is a 16 x 12 lakeside deck, elevated a couple of feet off the rocks. Here you'll find two Muskoka chairs - the perfect place to sit and relax by the lake, or for a glass of wine at sunset! A firepit is also available on the shoreline for evening campfires, and is a great place to take in the starry night sky. The shoreline at the cottage is a mix of flat rock and rubble, with gradual entry into Lake Huron. You can certainly enjoy a swim here, though swim shoes are recommended. If you'd like to visit a sandy beach, there is one just 20 km from the cottage at Singing Sands Beach, which is a fantastic beach for kids. There are public washrooms and changerooms at the beach, so the family can pack a picnic and stay for the day. As this cottage is centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula, plenty of opportunities exist for exploring the area, and the communities of Lion's Head and Tobermory are just a short drive away. Visit the village of Tobermory and sit on one of the many patios along the downtown harbour and have a bite to eat or just take a walk around town and browse in the unique shops. You are also not far from Bruce Peninsula National Park with great opportunities for hiking and exploring. This cottage is the perfect spot for you to comfortably get away, and make the most of your holiday!

  We have been renting cottages on the bruce peninsula for 16 years. In all of our 16 years we've never found one that we would continue to go to yearly. We found it with this one! This is by far the best rental we have ever come across! We have 4 kids and this cottage was plenty of room for us. The kids had so much fun with the putt-putt course, throwing rocks, playing hockey in the basement, the list goes on and on! The drying machine stopped working while we were there and the owner had a new one delevered by the end of the day! Fabulous service, fabulous cottage, fabulous vacation!!!Terrific cottage, we would purchase this cottage if ever for sale! We plan on staying here every summer!!

  We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The immaculate cottage was beyond our wildest dreams.
  The surrounding Bruce Peninsula offered many opportunities to hike, walk and enjoy the sandy beaches.

  Our family had a wonderful time at this gorgeous cottage. We went mid May and the weather was beautiful. Too cold for a swim of course, but perfect for walking by the lake. The cottage is exactly as advertised, if not better. The deck by the lake was the perfect spot to have a morning coffee. Lots of little nooks to have some quiet time for reading or relaxing. Close enough for a day trip into Tobermorey and amazing hiking close by. This cottage is a dream. Thank you to the owners for sharing their little piece of heaven!

  My wife and I have never been "cottage types"..it was our 30th anniversary and I said its time we find out what all this "up North" thing is about..Found this cottage on the internet and everything I read was true. I would highly recommend this place..it was exactly "as advertised" if not more...we had a great get away and I would look forward to a return visit..

  This was a fantastic rental. My family stayed the last week of June. Half the time it rained, but we barely noticed as the inside was so spacious. There are so many places to relax (living room, loft, kitchen, screened in porch) that you always could find space.
  
  The cottage is well equipped, peaceful and private.

  Luxurious and Welcoming: Exceeds Expectations

  We opened the door and just kept saying "Wow!" as we looked around. The
  livingroom furniture is overstuffed heaven. Very comfortable and cozy with
  the fire lit on a cool evening. The view from that great room and the loft
  above is spectacular. Floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen is large, well
  designed for cooking, and the utensils are top notch--no Dollar store items
  here. We loved having a dishwasher. The long harvest table is solid and the
  chairs comfortable. All three bedrooms are lovely, but the master bedroom
  is like a magazine picture. It has an amazing ensuite bath and a private
  deck. The downstairs bath has a comfortable well-lit tub for relaxing with a
  book. Having reverse osmosis, drinkable water, in the kitchen was a bonus.
  The other water is filtered, lovely on the skin. Having a washer and dryer
  makes for easier packing--didn't have to bring ALL our clothes. The deck is
  huge with great views, the chairs comfortable. The screened porch came in
  handy for the black flies and when the sun got too hot. The barbeque is
  great--better designed than ours at home. The only place where other
  people can be seen is from the beach, and it still doesn't feel exposed. It
  feels very private. The well-maintained dirt road provides a pleasant walk
  with only the occasional vehicle. Neighbours are friendly but not intrusive.
  Our hosts made sure there was plenty of wood, propane, handsoap,
  dishwasher detergent...little extras. There was a distinct feeling of attention
  to detail. We felt welcome. Tastefully decorated and superbly outfitted
  throughout, there wasn't one thing I would change except to lengthen our
  stay.
