We really enjoyed our stay in Lisbon and this apartment was perfect for a hub from which to see the sights in Lisbon. This is a small cozy apartment that has everything you will need. Other than the bedroom being a bit squishy with little room to get in and out we really enjoyed ourselves here. It is up a few flights of narrow stairs but andre and Christina were great in getting our luggage up and down. They were also very helpful in planning our holiday in Portugal. There are two supermarkets (one in a great mall) that are very close so we could walk to get everything we needed. We walked to Lisbon centre several times (15 to 20 minutes) but the metro is just a few minutes away. If you enjoy trying different foods do the Gourmet Walk tour (From Inside Lisbon).

The apartment has a great location. Easy to get to from the airport & to get around in general with public transport, especially the metro. The wi-fi is great! Andre the owner is superb & definitely enhanced our stay with his awesome welcome & answering all our questions as tourists. For the price this is good value for money. The pictures are a very true reflection of the apartment...

If you like to experience Lisbon, don't hesitate to book this apartment. The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet night, a supermarket/shops nearby and the metro line within 5 minutes walking distance. Everything you need is in the apartment: a fine bathroom, a good bed and a kitchen with enough utilities. Andre, the owner, is very helpful to make your stay to a success.

Desde el primer dia que llegamos nos hemos sentido muy cómodos. André nos recibió muy bien, com explicaciones y mapa de la ciudade. Se llega muy bien al centro (20/25 minutos a pie) o con el metro. Muy recomendable el supermercado Pingo Doce (1 minuto). Sin duda volveriamos al mismo apartamento.

Comfortable apartment in lively neighbourhood, in Saldanha and strategically located to the multi-purposed El Corte Inglés and the metro station São Sebastião. There is a choice of many restaurants and some shops (Pigo Doce, food shop).

We very much enjoyed staying at Casa Sao Jose. It was very conveniently located to visit Lisbon, close to two metro stations, supermarkets and car rentals. The appartment was very clean, had everything we needed for our stay and we were even provided with a baby cot and high chair at no extra cost. An excellent deal which we will recommend to our friends.

Just back from a fabulous stay in Lisbon and wanted to heartily recommend this apartment. The apartment is centrally located and ideal for using as a base for exploring the city. It is very well-appointed, very comfortable and ideal for a couple. From initial contact to checking out, Andre took care of us very professionally and did whatever he could to help us have a great time. The apartment is wonderful - cosy, charming - I love orange, equiped with all the essentials and a bit more, very comfortable and in a good location. Andre is a great host. He helped us a lot before we got to Lisbon with ideas for our trip and also when we got there. I would definitely recommend it!

The apartment is small, clean and suitable for a couple or two friends (one can sleep on the sofa bed). The owner has a lot of information about lisbon and has been extremely helpful in providing us with details about where to visit/restaurants etc. This makes our arrival to Lisbon very smooth and we absolutely appreciated that.
The location of the flat is slightly out of the historic city centre however the transportation link is very good and the flat is easily accesible by metro or buses.
Overall I would recommend the flat. -
