Charming apartment in one of Lisbon's most romantic old neighborhoods (Janelas Verdes). The apartment is cosy and sunny with views over inner gardens, the river and bridge 25 de Abril. It's the fourth floor of a centennial building recently renovated, and with a lift. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one ensuite. Ideal for couples with children and small groups. There is a baby cot and a high chair available on request. And free Wifi.

The apartment is located at Rua das Janelas Verdes, within Santos, an old harbor district, close to the Museum of Ancient Art, the Parliament and several embassies. It is within walking distance to Chiado (subway), Bairro Alto, Cais do Sodré (subway, ferry) and Baixa. You can also hop on the train (300m from the apartment), and enjoy the seaside line towards Belém and Cascais. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurants, bars and river facing esplanades.

We recently stayed at the apartment for a week. Very well furnished and equipped. The owner and Carla, from the property management company, were both extremely kind and helpful. We didn't hire a car during our trip but used Lisbon Taxis. They were great, rung them, went out of the apartment, down in the lift and the car was outside the door. Fantastic service.

We had a fantastic time in Lisbon and this apartment was one of the main reasons! It was light and bright and very spacious. A very well equipped apartment with a friendly and helpful owner who made us feel very welcome. It is excellently located near to the river, good restaurants and great transport connections. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break in Lisbon.

A short hop from the airport by taxi, this place gave us lots of room to overcome "jet lag" by spreading out our stuff, doing laundry, preparing a meal or two and beginning our vacation. From the extremely charming hostess who greeted us and helped us get a feel for the neighborhood to the many people we met in Lisbon, we concluded that we would consider staying much longer during a future visit. This is a charming, spacious apartment which is within easy walking distance of just so much to see... surpassed our desires by a huge margin!

Spend a week in lisbon staying in a beautiful equipped,spotless and confortable apartment. Meet on arrival by joanne who spoke very good english and helped us to plan our week,suggesting places to see in lisbon and also trip to places outside lisbon eg fatama.sintra and cascais.Apartment is very secure and airey.

A lovely modern apartment on the fourth floor of a four story old building on a cobblestone street. Completely renovated about 10 years ago. Furnished with everything a family house would have. The apartment overlooked a street but was high enough the street noise was not objectionable. Also very secure with locked outside door. And it had an elevator (thank goodness). It was just a block away from the traditional Lisbon museum, trolly 28 stopped at the corner, and the bus to Belem stopped in front of the next house. Very easy to get to the "tourist" places from this location. Resturants and mercados were within easy walking distance. Parking a car would be a big problem. We arrived by car then returned it the same day. There was no check-in desk and we had to phone to arrange a time to meet the owner. She spoke English for us non-Portuguese folks. The drawback was getting the deposit returned. The owner returned it the afternoon we were returning to the us, so we were running around the airport with 150 euros trying to spend them before leaving. Small problem that would not be a problem if you were still traveling in Europe and could spend euros there. We are from a small town in the country so this was a very different expierience for us. In the future I will look for city vacation rentals again. It was a terrific few days.
