Right in the heart of the city historical center, in a very peaceful public stairway that you will most pleasantly climb on your way up, from downtown to the Castle.
This neighborhood is one of the finest in Lisbon and it is well-known for the presence of many nice tiny streets with some really beautiful balconies. Even if there is a little slope, the landscape and the good smell of food coming from the restaurants make the walk pleasant. Before arriving to the castle you will find a small esplanade with one of the best views of Lisbon and it is worth entering the Castle to enjoy the landscape and the nature.
