Quality at low cost in a very picturesque neighbourhood!
Alfama 1 is located in the heart of old Lisbon, very close to the Castle and the Cathedral. It is the 4th and top floor of an old, no lift, narrow stairs building. The views of the town and the river are worth the climb, though!
The recently refurbished kitchen has a generous area and is well equipped, while the bedrooms and the living room (also refurbished) are small, yet comfortable, immaculate and cosy with their wooden ceilings and floors.

The picturesque Alfama quarter is one of the oldest and most genuine districts of Lisbon.
The neighbourhood is as Portuguese as you can get but will remind you of a Kasbah (an inheritance of the Moorish presence in Lisbon, centuries ago), with its narrow streets and alleys full of life, local shops, restaurants, bars and authentic fado houses.

Hemos pasado 4 días muy bonitos en Lisboa, el piso es muy cómodo, está muy bien equipado, y la ubicación es excelente.
No esta recomendado para personas que no puedan subir escaleras ya que esta en un atico sin ascensor.

We loved this apartment! It is in an amazing location, right in the heart of the alfama. Easy walking distance to stores, restaurants, cafes, and tourist sites (like the cathedral and castle). The best part about the location is just being in the alfama and absorbing the lifestyle here. The apartment itself is clean, bright, and airy. One side has wonderful views of the river and the other side has great views of the alfama quarter. Just be ready to walk up some steep stairs. Part of the charm!

The flat it's beautiful, full of confort , clean and in the most beautiful district located!!!
Mario the guy that manage the flat it's incredible kind, he will help you in everything and will make your stay there unic.
Everything was wonderful!!!
The only thing that you have to know it's that the flat it's on the 4° floor and for old persons are not so cofortble, but for your nad spoting like us it's nothing!!!

Grazie for the kind words Carmine! Alfama district is the oldest and most genuine quarter of Lisbon, so close to the Castle and the Cathedral. I am glad you enjoyed it! Narrow stairs till the 4th floor are a bore indeed, but then you have the views and a great price for a 2 bedroom apartment!

La casa è confortevole e la vista è bellissima. Situata nel vecchio quartiere di alfama, un luogo pittoresco e davvero da scoprire giorno dopo giorno. Mario è stato semplicemente gentilissimo con noi, sia prima che dopo l'arrivo nell'appartamento, e ci ha anche consigliati vari posti utili e di divertimento nelle vicinanze della casa.L'unico punto debole è l'accessibilità al 4° piano ma questo passa in secondo piano visto il conforte al interno dell'appartamento. Davvero una bellissima vacanza.
