Lisbon Penthouse vacation rental. Very luminous and breathtaking views are the keywords to describe this two bedroom cozy apartment. from the terrace there are views of the hills of Lisbon and the Tagus River. The larger terrace is private, viewing the Portugal Parliament that open from the modern kitchen with sliding glass doors.

The living room has high ceilings, a skylight and is painted in cheerful colors with natural hardwood floors throughout the whole apartment. The... attached dining area seats from four to six persons. There are 2 bedrooms, both large and with windows showing the Parliament, both with beds that sleep 2 adults. One of the bedrooms has direct access to the terrace.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, 4-burner gas stove, dishwasher and double fridge/freezer and glass sliding doors that open with direct access to the terrace, microwave, dishwasher, dishes and everything necessary for meals inside.

The apartment is ideal for couples, friends traveling together and families with children and is ideally perfectly located near all the transport lines, including the famous no. 28 Lisbon street car, just like San Fransisco. With many sophisticated shops, small family owned restaurants as well as higher end restaurants and less than a 10minute walk from the historic center you have an ideal neighborhood base during your stay in Lisbon.

Bed Linens and bath towels are provided, hi speed internet, cable tv, washing machine and we will even stock your fridge if you request so you can enjoy every minute of your stay.

The special attraction is the terrace of 25m2 that has views of the Parliament and the park behind the building - a quiet and wonderful setting for summer evening meals , catching the sun during the day or a relaxing drink at the end of your days touring Lisbon.

From the front terrace there are views of the hills of Lisbon and the Tagus River. The larger terrace has in summer is surrounded by trees for complete privacy. There is a smaller walk out terrace in the front with city and river views.

ps. Do you remember that famous movie where someone said that the last floor is always the best? Well this is the case of the Lisbon Penthouse. It is located on the 5th floor (no elevator) of a building built in the 1890´s. Please note this if you have problems climbing stairs.

an easy 10 minutes walk to the historic Lisbon city center, access to all transport lines and the no. 25 Lisbon Street Car and the train to the beaches of the Tagus River. The area is of the Parliament of Portugal and Prime Minister residence and is a very beautiful area of historic Lisbon.

The price shown is the rate for 2 persons. Each additional person above 2 persons is charged 10.00 € (euros) per night.

Weekly Rate - is 6 nights. Each additional night add rate shown (weekday or weekend price)

Maximum 4 people in the apartment.

We only accept cash on arrival, no checks or credit cards. Payments must be made in euros.
* Children under 5 years old do not pay the extra person charge. Over 65 years old will get a 5% discount.

Reserve online;

You can choose to pay the booking deposit (25% of the total) through bank transfer or using credit card or your paypal account (please note that you will have an extra charge of 10 euros).

If you chose bank transfer you will be asked to complete an application with necessary information for us to allow you access to our bank transfer system.

The receipt for the booking deposit should be received by fax or mail no more than 48 hours after making the reservation. The remainder must be paid in cash when checking in. (please remember, NO CASH, NO CHECK IN!)

Please note that the maximum withdrawal in a Portuguese ATM machine is 200 € and the maximum daily withdrawal is 400 €.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation with more than 30 days before arrival - 50% of deposit is refunded.

Cancellation within 30 days before arrival - 90% refund if the apartment is re-occupied. No refund if the apartment is not re-occupied.

Cancellation ;less than 30 days - no refund.

Please note that the deposits is required for the reservation. If you must cancel we will apply the forfeited amount as described above to a future stay

  We are a family of three that stayed at the first week of august 2012. We had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. From making the booking the owners - Greg and Lars - kept in contact and provided travel advice and guidance. We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival and were made to feel immediately at home. The apartment is a bit outside the centre but the tram passes close by and you can be in the centre in minutes. The apartment has lovely views of the city and the Parliament building and two nice balconies which were ideal for catching the sun.
  
  I would certainly stay again. Lisbon is a wonderful city and Lisbon Penthouse the ideal place st stay.

  This apartment has everything anyone would need to experience a great stay in Lisbon. The kitchen was fully equipped - I love cooking and was impressed. There was satellite television, two good sized bedrooms and a large terrace. There's also a bus stop right outside the door of the apartment. This place had everything and is an amazing find - especially at such a good price!

  The apartment was nice - very comfortable. Once we got our bearings to the city, we discovered the location was great..lots of restaurants within walking distance and a 28 tram stop virtually right outside the door. The terrace was great - excellent sun in the morning and evening. We spent most of our evenings out there with a bottle of wine - an excellent "reward" after climbing up the 6 flights of stairs. There was an odd smell in the apt the week we were there, but I believe it was from the washer/dryer so easily fixed. I would recommend Greg (landlord) and this apartment to anyone.

  I had the opportunity to visit Lisbon, and I was delighted with the choice of this penthouse. I stayed a few days, and thought how wonderful it would be to stay in the apartment with a group of friends. The apartment is in a beautiful building with a noble character and has the most beautiful views from the terrace overlooking the parliament building. There is a great sense of privacy because of all the trees. The interior space is light and cheerful with high ceilings, colorful walls, and sleek furnishings. The kitchen has everything that anyone would want for cooking, and I had a memorable night with some invited guests, dining under the stars. I would certainly recommend this place as a gracious and economical alternative to a hotel.
