I found these apartments on 'Booking.com'. My husband, daughter and myself found that they were just what we needed. We were helping our daughter to find student accommodation and as the apartment was so central and so close to the metro it was brilliant for getting anywhere in the city. We were able to use the 'aerobus' to be dropped off at 'Marques de Pombal. Getting in was no problem as we were e-mailed the outside door and apartment code numbers (for our stay). There is a very good supermarket nearby with a good range of food and household goods open from 09.00 to 21.00 daily. The staff were all very helpful especially on reception. We are visiting Lisbon next June and will stay there again as the apartment was also very well equipped with hob, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There was also plenty of storage space. Only downsides:1)finding the place, didn't appear in right place on 'google map'. 2)there is not a timetable display of when reception is open. 3)We booked for 3 of us so it was a bit cramped would be ideal for 2.
