The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable there. The location was convenient close to Cais Sodre which is a good hub for the Metro, Buses, and the airport Bus.
Susana speaks perfect English and she was extremely friendly and helpful. Her advise on places to see near Lisbon and local was great. She lead us to a great local restaurant to see a Fado performance.
I would stay hear again if we return to Lisbon. -

We can highly recommend Sergio and Susana's beautiful, well equipped, comfortable apartment in Lisbon. It is within walking distance of all the main sights in the historic old town, as well as to metro, trams and ferries. The beds are very comfortable. There is a view of the river from the front windows. Susana met us at the apartment and was extremely charming, helpful and welcoming. Sergio and Susana were extremely reliable in all phases of the rental process. Thank you for a great stay.

We loved the apartment and the location. Susana was so warm and friendly. She helped carry our luggage up the steep stairs as my husband recently had surgery and was unable to lift more than 25 lbs. She even helped us find free parking on the street a few blocks away. She sent us a text the next morning, checking if we needed anything. Now that is customer service! The apartment was nicely furnished and had every appliance you could ever need. Free wifi, air conditioning, washer and dryer were very much appreciated. The location was superb, with a harbor view and within walking distance to most everything of historical interest in Lisbon. It is on a busy street, however, so it is quite noisy with the windows open. The bedroom is away from the street which makes it quiet enough to sleep well. There is even a small balcony where you can watch the world go by.

My partner and I arrived in Lisbon to find our host Susana waiting for us. The apartment was clean and centrally located near the train station. We were able to get anywhere in the city from this location, Susana and Sergio were the best of hosts. They recommended a private tour for us and gave us great ideas about restaurants and museums in the city. The coffee shop next door is warm, friendly and convenient. We enjoyed coffee and pastries there frequently.

We just returned from a 7 day stay in Lisbon. This apartment was the perfect accommodation for our young family of 4. It has been beautifully modernized for comfort and the location made it easy to explore the city and visit the beach.
The owners were a pleasure to deal with and greeted us with a bottle of wine and helpful tips. They were attentive throughout our stay and made our booking, arrival and departure simple and efficient.
This apartment is truly a great value and we would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lisbon!

Warm welcome from Sergio when we arrived, showed us around the apartment and gave us some useful info about Lisbon. The apartment is really spacious, well equiped, clean and comfortable. I would recommend to friends and would return in the future. Did the open top bus tour and visited oceanaria, enjoyed both.

We were fortunate to have an extended stay in this apartment from late Dec to early Jan. Our communications were always dealt with promptly and clearly. The apartment (up one flight of reasonably steep stairs) is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. All the photos and descriptions, as per the website, are an accurate depiction of what you will find on arrival. The kitchen facilities are generous and allow for the preparation of a variety of meals. The food market is close by, as are a supermarket and great bakery. We found the hosts to be welcoming and accommodating in answering questions about local attractions and life in Lisbon in general. Highly recommended.

We booked the apartment on-line, mainly contacting Sergio, and everything was handled well, plus all our questions answered very quickly.
The apartment was beautifully situated for transport and sightseeing, easy to get to the train, the tram and the Barrio alto. There were supermarkets, a proper market and many cafes and shops very close by for supplies.
The apartment itself was light and airy with lots of space, so welcome after some very small hotel rooms in other cities. Only one flight of stairs to the door was important for us too. A/C and wifi, a good bathroom and a separate laundry room made it very comfortable. The kitchen was well set up and there were some basics to start us off, plus a good supply of cleaning materials.
We were greeted at the apartment and shown how things worked, as well as the nearby things such as the supermarket and market. Paying the bond and the remainder of the money was handled professionally and the bond was returned the night before we left by Susana (who was charming)
We absolutely loved Lisbon and the apartment was a great part of the attraction for us. -

A beautifully appointed apartment with so much space. I was surprised when I first walked in and saw how large the place was. Sergio and Susana have set the place up with everything you could need and it is very clean and new. Great location, well within easy walking distance of the main eating, drinking and shopping areas and close to the ferry and train terminal for sightseeing further afield.
Sergio and Susana were excellent hosts, providing suggestions on places to go and where to buy provisions - I loved the small bar/cafe next door where a morning and evening coffee became a ritual.
All in all a great choice of accommodation. -

The apartment was great. It was spacious and the kitchen area was clean and modern. It was centrally located, close to transportation, restaurants and shops. Sergio was very helpful. The morning we left, the street was closed for a festival and he even assisted us with our cases and escorted us to a nearby taxi stand to go to the airport.

We stayed at this apartment for 6 nights and we absolutely loved it. The flat was fully equipped with cooker, washer dryer and dishwasher... We felt at home.
The owner of the proper welcomed us and was very helpful and gave us a mini guide on what to do in Lisbon... This was very helpful.
The flat is very central, within walking distance to many historic sights and landmarks. The closest station is cais du sobre, we were able to get a train to estoril and cascais where we found beautiful sandy beaches, it was literally. 20 min train journal away. The train, the ferry, bus and metro stations are literally a stone throw away.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Lisbon.. Including those with younger children. -

We were so pleased to stay ten nights in this apartment at the very heart of Lisbon, close to everything a visitor to this great city needs: the old city, tram and metro stations, the train station just five minutes of walk so that you can be - in thirty minutes - at the best beaches (Guincho, what a fun!), the fish and food market so that you can really cook something local (those grilled sardines!!!)and - for us especially :-)) - ten minutes to the wine tasting centre at the Praca do Comercio...
The flat itself is totally new, nice dispositions, quiet, clean, fully equipped (including fast Internet connection). Frankly, I cannot find any negative point to be said. We enjoyed and if you are looking for a clean, quiet place to come back to after a long day in the streets, do not look any more. Believe me. -

The apartment is lovely. Sergio and Susana have clearly put in a lot of thought to make sure that visitors have everything they need. As far as facilities are concerned it trumps a hotel, not least because the kitchen enables you to cook for yourself. Air-conditioning, wifi, and satellite tv were also provided. The location is good for downtown Lisbon, the local market, and restaurants. There was no problem with noise, even though trams pass regularly along the street outside. Susana was very welcoming and gave useful suggestions for things to see and do. We will definitely go back.

My daughter booked this apartment from australia so that on her vacation to the homelands she could spend time travelling in Europe and grab a few days with Mum and Dad where we could explore together.
Lisbon was ideal and the apartment was perfectly placed to enjoy a city that has so much to offer. On arrival at the apartment we were warmly welcomed by Sergio giving us the pros of the surrounding district. The accomodation was surprisingly larger than the pictures give credit for and the standard and detail was exceptionally good.
It is very central for moving about the city with public transport on the doorstep and the train station not more than 10 minutes easy walking.

I didn't see the apartment before, because my boyfriend organised everything, but when I arrived there, and a saw it...i felt in love. Why? Because of the location - near the sea, in the center, near metro/bus/tram/raillway stations. Because of the friendly owners who gave us all the information we needed, all tips and good/bad places to visit, because they answered to all our request. Because of how the apartment is decorated - good taste and a lot of usefull things..you really feel like home from the point of view of the confort but in the same time, you feel the spirit o vacation. Do I need to say more? I strongly recommend this apartment because for sure you will feel very nice and willing to come back soon.

My partner and I spent a week in Lisbon, staying at Sergio's wonderful apartment.
The design of the apartment is modern, stylish and easy to maintain, including a lovely powerful shower and plenty of space for hanging clothes and making yourself at home. We ate frequently in the apartment, enjoying shopping at the local market and preparing food in the stylish and well-kitted-out kitchen.
Tv with cable movie channels in english are provided and on a couple of evenings after pounding the city cobbles we opted to put our scorched feet up and relax with a glass of wine while watching a good movie.
We found the apartment to be ideally located for touring the city as well as being near to the Cais do Sodre station for day trips out on the train to the coast.
We found Lisbon a fantastic place for a city break and the apartment could not have been more suited for our needs.
We would have no hestitation in recommending Sergio's apartment for like-minded travellers who enjoy their own space and enjoy feeling as though they are home-from-home. -

We enjoyed three days and nights so comfortably in this spacious gracious light open apartment with every amenity. We could have stayed months here! We walked down marble stairs one level and out the front door into the center of Old Lisbon's bay-front neighborhoods. We found trolleys and the bus outside the door. From here we set out on three memorable days to explore Old Lisbon on foot. So inviting! What a find!

We had a great week stay in this appartment.
The location in excellent and within walking distance of many of the different areas of Lisbon. It also on several bus and tram routes. The train station is less than 5 mins walk where you can go to the coast/beaches.
The appartment its self is great, spacious and very clean. The kitchen had everything you could need including dishwasher/blenders etc etc.
This was our first holiday with our 6 month old baby and the owners were very helpful and gave us lots of advice/tips (including lending us their buggy which was very generous).
I would definately stay here again if returning to Lisbon and will be recommending it to friends.

Not only is this apartment designed and furnished with excellent taste, it also has every little thing that you need to spend a couple of days in lovely Lisbon. The day light makes warm and welcoming and even if it should happen to rain during your vacation you wouldn' really mind since it is alomist a waste to spend time inside. It is perfectly located in the heart of the old city with almost everything sight just a few minutes to walk. Apart from that the owners were so kind and helpful before we even came and when we came they made it very easy for us to feel welcome. We tried hard to find something in there that we did not like or something that we miss... without success. It was the perfect place to stay at a very, very reasonable price. I stayed in this apartment for a week in the middle of March. The apartment is right near Cais de Sodre where I arrived by aerport bus. The apartment is very easy to find and it takes two minutes to walk from the station/bus stop. quickly. I was met by a nice and helpful hostess who showed me around in the apartment and even told me a little about the city, where to buy food, to shop etc.
The apartment is new and cosy, and I cooked my meals every day, sometimes having been at the market in the morning to buy vegetables and fish. Location of the apartment is excellent because everything (the centre, sightseeing and tours, shops, the market, the train and metro station, aeroport bus etc) is very close. Although I walked around in the city in the evenings alone, I was safe. Shopped a little, too. I bought all the souvenirs I wanted in a shop near the apartment although there are plenty of souvenir shops in the centre too. A bakery in the same street is also excellent and I ate a lot of cakes during my stay :)
It also took me around 35 minutes to go to Estril and visit my friends there. I guess the location and the help by the hostess was the best aspects I liked, as well as the renovated and clean apartment.

A very friendly and personal welcome & introduction started up the stay at this superfresh, modern & charming little flat. However brandnew renovated it's nice to feel the older atmosphere from the house and the nearlying quarter around.
Less than 5 minutes walk to everything:
-Traintstation for easy access to beaches!
-Barrio alto for bars & restaurants & nightlife!
-The big blue sea!
-Shopping!
-Culture!

Wonderful, new renovated and quiet flat with all you need also for long stay - we spent a whole month there. Very responsive, caring and charming hosts. A location in a little worn but so wonderfully genuine part of the city. Near everything, a few steps to the local supermarket, 341 meters to the Opera, almost the same to the market place and local train station. Hardly more to the more exclusive shopping streets. Buses and trams 3 steps from the street door. It was really magic to be there. We can warmly recommend this flat! You are lucky if you have the possibility to rent it!

I am Xanshi from Hainan. I stay in Lisbon for business trip and look for good deal with high asian standards and not Portuguese dirty flat. So I was quite surprised in bankrupt Portugal they have sometimes good standards. Lisbon for me is the size of Chinese village, so usually it is not very good qality.
Mr Serbio is nice man and speaks two words of Mandarin: Ni hao. He funny and helpful. Flat has good equipment and very clean. The paint is very fresh. I would prefer more wooden furniture but I understand Europe is bankrupt and cannot import not anymore. I would also prefer cleaning lady everyday but it can be arranged too. I can cook better food than low standard Chinese restaurants in Lisbon!
