Welcome to my apartment.. Strategically located at the centre of Lisbon's centre it's only a few steps from glamorous Avenida da Liberdade and walking distance from the city's most popular areas, like Baixa, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Príncipe Real, Castelo and Marquês de Pombal.
Duplex apartment (100 m2) refurbished by architects. The apartment is a century building build after the Earthquake in 1750. It's the perfect choice for those who prefer staying in a quiet area, but still only a few meters away from this vibrant city's epicenter. It's completely furnished with abundant light and it has 2 balconies.
The... apartment has 2 floors:
i) On the ground floor there is a big hall that separates the 2 bedrooms, one with a toilet, with double beds. Every rooms has a window and one has a small bacony.
ii) On the upper floor you will find the living room with a long balcony and a bathroom and a kitchen.
The apartment has plenty of light.
The street, typically “lisboeta”, is very quiet and safe. In the next door gardens, sparrows and blackbirds sing all day. But if you wake-up thinking you're somewhere in the countryside, well think again, you're only 80 meters away from Lisbon's busiest Avenue, with its high-end stores, restaurants, antique shops, theaters and bars.
Check in and check out will be arranged according to your needs but always respecting the previous and next guests. I will always try to accommodate you after your arrival and let you stay until you have to leave. If i have other guests checking in or out on the same days, then check out will be at 12:30 and check in at 14:30. No check in after 24:00.
After your reservation is confirmed you will receive a guide with all the information about the apartment (available in Portuguese, French, English and Spanish). Please provide me with your flight numbers and estimated arrival/departure times.
Make sure you always turn off the heater before you leave the apartment for your daily tours.
When entering or leaving the building shut the door gently. Your neighbors will thank you.
NO NOISE AFTER 23:00
Please don't smoke inside the apartment. If you really, really need to smoke do it on the balcony.
Use the balcony wisely.
Loosing the key implies the payment of 20€.
The apartment will be cleaned and all bed sheets and towels changed before your arrival.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTS TO AND FROM THE APARTMENT AND SIGHTSEEING:
Subway: Avenida (50 meters away). The best way to get there coming from the airport, for only 1,25€. (80m)

Near the apartment you will find delicious and inexpensive small restaurants (including a very popular non-touristy restaurant - "Devagar Devagarinho" - with live authentic Fado music every friday night).
"Minipreço" supermarket is also a few meters away.
Walking down Rua de São José, don’t miss the antique shops with authentic portuguese furniture and old times memorabilia. Great souvenirs to be found!
Stepping into Avenida da Liberdade, and being this the busiest avenue in town, you’ll find everything from luxury brands (Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani, Burberry, Boss, Montblanc and many others) to old time boutiques and the always cool and fashionable kiosks, where young “lisboetas” join for an evening drink (open ‘till 2am). You’ll find theaters (Tivoli, São Jorge and others), concert halls (Coliseu de Lisboa) and all sort of restaurants, from fine dining (AdLib, Brasserie Flo, Pedro e o Lobo) to seafood paradises such as Pinóquio and Cervejaria Ribadouro and the hip and fashionable “see and be seen” Guilty and D’Oliva. As well as a nice cool café called "Café Delta"
Walking up the hill you will find "Jardim do Torel" (Torel's Garden), one of Lisbon's hidden gems, with its magnificient view, perfect for a sunset drink or chilling out after a sightseeing day.Read more

We are 4 members family, the apartment was perfect for us. We spent 4 days holidays and the experience was very good, in case you have movility problems note the street is very steep.

Des notre arrivé nous avons était surpris par le quartier mais l'appartement est splendide et fonctionnel.
Belle décoration,très propre;emplacement au centre ville et à coté de différents moyen de transports.
La propriétaire est accueillante et donne de bon conseils
We had a very nice stay in Lisbon at this apartment.
The apartment is centrally located so that we could walk everywhere (or take the metro/train to the airport or Sintra). Driving & parking on the street is quite challenging (from our North american perspective!) as the street is very narrow and on a very steep hill! My husband finally managed to parallel park on the street after jiggling back & forth in the spot at least 20 times and tapping the car behind him once (whoops). Assuming you can actually manage to find a spot on the street and you can also manage to squeeze your car into it, then you can park for free -- no small feat in Lisbon!
The apartment is on the second and third floor of a building with no elevator. The bedrooms are a good size on the second floor, and one of those bedrooms has a toilet and a small sink. The main bathroom, kitchen, dining table, and living area are on the third floor. The stairs are quite steep. To make sure that our baby wouldn't fall down the stairs, we shifted around the living area furniture a bit.
The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked with appliances, dishes and tools, as well as spices, olive oil, vinegar, water, and milk. There is also a washing machine and a drying rack for our clothes. If I could change only one thing about the apartment, it would be to put the main bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms.
Overall our stay was very nice. The best part about this apartment is alexandra (the manager), a delightful, friendly, helpful lady who went out of her way to accommodate us. She toured us through the neighbourhood to point out the bank, grocery store, restaurants, metro, etc. (She also taught my husband how to parallel park the car on the narrow, steep street.)

Thia is a beautifully appointed and very fully equipped apartment in an excellent location just off avenida Liberdade one of the main thoroughfares in Lisbon. There is great shopping nearby for everything from designer labels to a local supermarket.Meeting points for bus, tram and walking tours are also within easy walking distance. The airbus stop is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. This is Lisbon so be prepared for a lot of walking on steep hills and on cobble stone pavements. Be prepared also for the fairly steep, although short, flight of stairs within the apartment between sleeping and living quarters/kitchen and bathroom! In addition to the detailled information provided in writing within the apartment re sightseeing, local amenities etc the owner was also particularly helpful on a personal level when she met us on arrival and before departure.
beautiful and peaceful apartment - great place to stay

We really loved our stay in this sylish apartment
and it exceeded our expectations. The owner, Alexandra, was extremely helpful and friendly, and was easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. The apartment itself was very comfortable (the best bed I've slept in for years!), with the stairs being a minor worry with very small children, as they are very steep - there were no accidents though. We adored the views from both sides of this light, bright, spacy place, with the lemon and orange trees in the garden below a delight. What struck us the most was how quiet the area is, with no noise disturbance whatsoever, despite being only 5 mins max from the main avenida of the city. We went with 3 small children, but once we'd found the quick alternative route which avoided carrying buggies up the flight of stairs to the street, we were fine! Our taxi from the airport couldn't find the street - so perhaps ask for more extensive directions to give a driver for your arrival...?
We enjoyed all the interesting and curious artwork and furniture in the apartment - quite inspiring.
A wonderful place - we recommend this place very highly.

Lovely little place with lots of light. The buliding is old and charming, the apartment is newly renovated and tastefully decorated. It's a short walk to the avenida Liberdade, making downtown Lisbon easily accessible by foot, at the same time, the street is very quiet. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed and clean.
Steep stairs lead to the apartment and the apartment itself has steep steps between it's two floors so this is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
The owner, Alexandra met us at the apartment as promised and was friendly and helpful. Read more

We requested to book this apartment and got an immediate response as to it being available. Alexandra was our contact and she was so helpful during the booking and in the days leading up to our holiday. She met us at the apartment and showed us round and gave us local information.
The apartment is absolutely beautiful and comfortable, very clean, and we felt very safe staying there.
It is a lovely walk down through the little streets to the main street which takes you to where-ever you choose to sightsee in Lisbon.
Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

A lovely airy apartment that remains surprisingly cool despite very warm temperatures outside. Well equipped and the owner, Maria, was very friendly and helpful. We slept soundly on comfortable beds helped by its quite location despite it being only 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of Lisbon. Although four adults were staying in the apartment we never ran out of hot water. Like much of Lisbon, the apartment has character and is located on a hill as well as having steep stairs within the building therefore any guests need to be reasonably fit and able bodied.
