The house is big, has 2 bedrooms and is good enough for 2 couples or a couple with children.

The areas, well cared, are sophisticated and take us into a timeless and literary atmosphere. The décor is of English inspiration, with some Eastern and African pieces, that lend a special touch.

We are right in the heart of Lisbon, in a house with 18th century Po...mbaline roots, showing some elements characteristic of the construction at the time (like the wall in stone and the wooden cage used to build the inner walls), but, all of a sudden, you could find yourself in another corner of the world.

One of the bedrooms has a bath tub, is in an attic and has a very intimate and romantic atmosphere. The other does not lag behind and also has a unique atmosphere, with a direct entry of light in the ceiling and a décor that reminds "Out of Africa".

The apartment also has a kitchen, in open space, practical and functional, well blended in the space, ideal for simple and light meals, typical of holidays.

The cherry on the top of the cake is the outside area, around which the house circles, a true paradise in a city like Lisbon and whose images speak for themselves.

This wonderful apartment is situated in Praça da Figueira, right next to Rossio mfrom the novels by Eça de Queiroz, Chiado of Fernando Pessoa and of Mouraria and Alfama, sung in the fados by Amália Rodrigues.

Take the Santa Justa lift (Largo do Carmo/Rua do Ouro). You will arrive in Lisbon's downtown. Yes, now we can say: Welcome to Lisbon!
Lisbon´s downtown baixa (or Pombaline downtown) is the visiting card of the city of Lisbon. Strolling through baixa is living the 18th. century. The whole area was rebuilt by Marquês de Pombal following the 1755 earthquake. The parallel and perpendicular streets create an almost perfect network. The buildings, all similar, look like a stage-setting. In several aspects, the reconstruction of Baixa was pioneering: the anti-seismic systems and the sewage network are examples of this.
Today, this part of town is par excellence an area of commerce and services, a meeting point for Lisboners and tourists alike. Rua Augusta has a very fast pace, mainly during the day. It is here that you shop (there are shops for all purses). You can lunch at one of the sidewalk cafés, buy flowers, watch street performances. At the end of Rua Augusta you will see the triumphal Arch as a passage into Praça do Comércio (or Terreiro do Paço). 36000 m2 of a majestic square built to reaffirm the power of King D. José I. As impressive as the square is the River Tagus, right in front. The view from Cais das Colunas leaves no one untouched.
In Baixa you can find pleasant cafés and restaurants, at a good price and ... authentic. "Café do Gelo" (Praça D. Pedro IV, 64) is the exmaple of a café which travelled through times and remained updated. The pastries are assorted and will not let you down. They also serve meals. A little further up (numbers 24 and 25) is "Café Nicola", whose nickname "Academia" reveals that, in times past, it was a meeting place for intellectuals and artists. Undoubtedly, it remains a treasure preserved in the heart of the capital. On the other side of the square is Pastelaria Suiça, the huge parisian type sidewalk café. Surrender yourself!
Renew your wardrobe and your home. The suggestions are several: for handbags and wallets "J&J;" (Rua da Prata, 134-136) for hats "Chapelarias Azevedo" (Praça D. Pedro IV, 69 and 72), for houseware "Soho Interiores" (Rua da Madalena, 216). If you are looking for the company of a book, peep into "Oficina do Livro" (Praça D. Pedro IV, 23) or "Circulo de Leitores" (Rua do Ouro, 224). At Rua do Ouro (as the name implies gold), there is a vast concentration of goldsmiths and jewellers. It is worth stepping into some of them just to admire the decoration.
End your evening in a grand manner at Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, Lisbon's great theatre house. Because the history of the city is built every day and art helps you be part of it.

In case of early or late check in/out the addition cost is applied: between 8pm and 12pm has a cost of €30; between 12pm and 8am has a cost of €50. On national holidays and weekends check-in/out has an extra cost of €20 between 8.00 am and 9.00 pm.
