This apartment is 5 minutes from the city center, so you will be able to enjoy most of Lisbon´s attractions by foot! You have also at a walking distance bus, trams and metro stops nearby like:
-The famous Tram nº28 that will take you to the most picturesque Lisbon districts, it stops only at 600 meters from the building. A ride in this tram and you will be exploring the most picturesque neighborhoods of the city.
- The Metro Station Baixa/Chiado is just 10 - 15 minutes away from the apartment (blue and green lines) from where you can explore the rest of the city;
- The Bus stops nr 758, 773, 727 at... only a 10 minute walk;
- The Train Station Rossio is at a 10 - 15 minute walk and it take you to the historical and fairy tale village of Sintra;
- There are also 24H taxi stands in Chiado.
The building is situated in a typical Bairro Alto street and although Bairro Alto is known for its busy nightlife this street is quite calm and not on the bars and clubs area. In this quarter full of narrow streets, local grocery stores and old Portuguese taverns live side by side with fashion shops and trendy bars/ clubs. Restaurants varying from traditional and cheap Portuguese “tascas” to purveyors of sophisticated cosmopolitan cuisine can be found at every corner, not to mention the Fado Restaurants. For your daily needs supermarkets and grocery stores are also at a walking distance as for a pharmacy and a ATM machine.
In Bairro Alto you are at a walking distance to a wealth of attractions such as the Bica Funicular, the Santa Catarina Viewpoint, the São Pedro de Alcântara Viewpoint that is considered to have the best of Lisbon. The elegant and sophisticated neighborhood of Chiado is also side by side with Bairro Alto and on the opposite side from Chiado is Principe Real. It´s not so touristic but deserves a visit, being famous for its exotic Gardens and Antique Shops.

This apartment with 100sqm has one bedroom in the upper floor with an ensuite bathroom and two twin beds. The living room is in the first floor and has two comfortable sofa beds, cable TV and Wi-Fi connection and you have also another full bathroom in this floor. The apartment has hot/cold air conditioning for your extreme comfort during both winter and summer. We also have a crib and baby chair complimentary but upon request. Be sure to inform us at the booking time if you want the crib prepared on arrival. With its white predominant color it is a very bright and luminous apartment and on the upper floor you can contemplate stunning views from the Tejo River, the 25 de Abril bridge and Lisbon´s rooftops!
