This self-catering apartment is located at Chiado. The apartment has all the facilities, central heating and some beautiful architectural details.

Located on one of the main streets of chic and activeChiado, you will be surrounded by trendy cafés and shops. Definitely it is ideal for a stay in the city during holidays or for business...

Thesubwayis at a few steps away and is it also walking distance to the train stations that can take you to the beaches around Lisbon, to Sintra and to all the sightseeing in and outside the city.

There are two public parking garages at your disposal within a 5 minutes walk.

The a...partment has 65m2 and has been renovated to include the following:

one bedroom with a double bed;

*

a living room (cable TV and CD player) with a double sofa-bed and a dining table;

*

a kitchen is fully equipped with stove, washing and dryer machine, microwave and a fridge with freezer;

*

a bathroom with bathtub.

The bedroom windows have double glazing.

All the rooms are provided with central heating.

Wireless broadband access available for those who have their own laptop with Wi-Fi compatible equipment.

We will welcome you with a bottle of wine.

Apartments200,202and 230 are both located atRua Nova do Almada, atChiado. There are severalother apartmentsat Chiado.

Chiadoas re-emerged from the ashes of the big fire in 1988 after about 10 years. All the investment made in the renewing of this area, conciliating elegance of the past with the modern needs of comfort and design made this the most appreciated and expensive neighborhood of central Lisbon.

Chiadois considered the most beautiful area of historic Lisbon. It was a place of residence of the Portuguese royalty and of the political and cultural elites. Nearby are located the theatreS. Luisand the operaS. Carlos. A little further isCamõessquare (Praça de Camões), next toBairro Alto, picturesque but raffish. Part of Lisbon's nightlife is concentrated in this quarter, where you can hear 'fados' being sung in some restaurants and cafés.ChiadoandBairro Altoare where locals and tourists meet, with elegant hotels, old cafés and the best international fashion shops. The flats are also a few minutes walking to a lot of trendy shops, and to the famouscafé Brasileira.

A 5 minutes walk takes you to the the funicularBicaand also toRossio, inBaixa,the neighbourhood rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755. In the direction of the river, you can findPraça do Comércio, centre of the old Portuguese empire near the river Tejo (Tagus river).

It is close to shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, cash machines, public transports (incsubwaystation Baixa/Chiadostation 50 meters away and electric trams) 24 hour taxi stands, etc. Also in the same square there are a pharmacy and a post office, as well as grocery shops within 5 minutes walking.

To go toSintraor toÓbidosyou must catch the train atEntre-Campostrain station, which is just a short subway trip fromChiado.

The nearest airport isLisbon International Airportat 12 kilometres; the nearest railway station is International Station ofSanta Apolóniaat 1 kilometre.

  A good central city flat - few minor problems.

  Flat was absolutely fine (if noisy!) - chest of drawers was broken, but otherwise good. Only strange thing was on our form it said there would be a bottle of welcome wine - there was none. Plus one of the keys didn't work so we effectively only had one set. However, helpful chap at the beginning and well placed flat to walk everywhere.
  Flat was clean and pretty.
  Would be very small for more than a couple.

  Great Comfortable apartment in a Great Location

  We had a great time staying in this apartment in Lisbon. It is furnished very comfortably, and was centrally located to everything including the Lisbon Tram that can take you up to St George's Castle and up into the alto Barrio. The 15 tram that will take you out to Belem is only a couple blocks away too. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and when it was time to leave, the bus stop to the airport was only a couple blocks away as well. I can't recommend this apartment enough.

  The service was excellent. Raquel was helpful in every way. The apartment was very nice. However, the sofa was most uncomfortable. Also, the lack of an outlet by a mirror was a really bad thing for me. The location was great. We were able to walk everywhere, and that's what we liked the best. Nice apt. But put in a comfortable sofa and an outlet by a mirror! I have a complaint regarding the offer to set up a taxi to pick us up at the airport. We accepted the offer, paid the 35.00 Euros (to the taxi driver) when he picked us up at the airport, plus tip. A taxi never showed up to take us to the airport, so we got our own taxi. The fare was under 10.00 Euros! A rip off!

  Concerning the discrepancy between the taxis prices is because the service chosen to take you to the apartment was a private transfer and not a regular taxi used to take back to the airport.

  This apartment was spotlessly clean, had floor to ceiling windows throughout, was a corner apartment on the third floor and was near to everything including the train station, the river and the central district. Could not have asked for more.
