We were met as promised and walked to our new little home. It is in a great location, we loved the community that shared our stay with us. The shop keepers and restaurants were very kind and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Once we walked the neighborhood of alfama, we were able to find our apartment very well. Bus service was near and we were only about 2 short blocks to the train station. The Lisboa card is a must, what a deal.

There was a warm welcom. The appartment is small but clean and has it all for a few days in the city.
Very nice old area where you do not need to go far to find very nice little restaurants (with or without fado). -

My husband & I stayed here for the first week of our trip to Portugal on our honeymoon. Although it was a tiny space, it provided everything we needed and wanted for our stay. The location was perfect for exploring, and we later decided that the alfama was our favorite region of Portugal. Being cooks, we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to fresh groceries, and a wonderful butcher, all of which we frequented. We also loved the little cafe down in the square across from the Museo do Fado, where we enjoyed sitting and people watching, while having a bite to eat and a cafe latte or glass of wine or sangria (so delicious!). Thank-you Goncalo for being a wonderful & helpful host-we very much enjoyed our stay and would do it again!

Neat and tidy wee flat in the heart of alfama in a pedestrian street. Although the apartment is small it has everything you need for a short stay. Some great restaurants in the vicinity. Very freindly and efficient check in procedure.

I stayed in this apartment for 1 week on a part-business/part-holiday break and loved it. To date it is my best apartment rental experience, and I am looking forward to re-booking in future with my wife.
Eduardo and Fatima were very friendly, and the location is charming. -

My husband and I spent a full week in this beautifully appointed apartment - and it could have been a month if time, money and work had permitted!!! In simply the best of locations, the apartment itself is charming, spotlessly clean and has more than you could ever expect in a holiday rental.
Fatima was welcoming from the very first email and when we arrived gave us excellent recommendations - which we put to good use - and they were all as wonderful as she had intimated the places would be. We got to see things we may otherwise have overlooked or did not know about.
Addition of Fado Cd's was also much appreciated.
We thoroughly enjoyed the neighbourhood for it's authenticity and great restaurants. Pois Cafe, Porto D'Alfama, Pateo 13, Mestre andre, Esperanca, Resto do Chapito and Cruzes Credo were all within easy walking distance and enjoyed by us.
Every place we popped into for a quick Bica provided really great coffee - you just seem unable to go wrong. The pastries were pretty awesome too.
Adored the sense of community that still prevails.
On a Sat evening the fado singers seemed to come by Porto D'Alfama and do little sets.
Certainly highly recommend this apartment and the alfama area. Looking forward to a return trip already.

Una estancia como en casa. Una casa hecha con todo el mimo que puedes esperar. Fatima una persona dulce y detallista que nos aconsejó que hacer, donde ir, consejos y buenas ideas para nuestras vacaciones. Unos dias en pleno "agosto" en abril. Disfrutamos y volveremos. Gracias Fatima.

The apartment was absolutely perfect! The accommodations, location and amenities were all just wonderful. We really enjoyed staying in the alfama, as it was just steps away from restaurants and shops, but still very quiet for sleeping at night. The wifi, tv/dvd player and washer/dryer were all amenities that made our stay so much easier, and we loved listening to the fado cd's in the evening.
Thank you to Fatima for setting up the reservation and our thanks to Eduardo for his many restaurant recommendations! We tried the nearby Pois Cafe, Sao antoine's and Maestro andre's and enjoyed them very much. We hope to get back to Lisbon for another visit some day!

We stayed at the bijoux apartment for 3 nights, and found a very warm welcome from our hosts with lots of local information about where to go and what to see. The apartment, whilst tiny, is immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean - and the size didn't matter for a city break where most of the time is spent exploring the area. The localization is perfect for access to the historic area, the castle, or a very quick walk to all the bus links needed. All in all, highly recommended.

Perfect location, very comfortable bed, it was very clean, complete kitchen.
For a longer stay a bit too small for two people, but for a few days was it enough room.

This is a well-appointed apartment in an excellent location good for 1-2 travelers. The space is somewhat small but it suited my needs well. It is nicely decorated and equipped with everything you might need. The balcony overlooks a lovely courtyard and is just below a church. I loved hearing the church bells ring on a regular basis - others might find this annoying, but I thought it added something to the location). I highly recommend this apartment. I would definitley stay there again.

Our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the visit. The flat is located in one of the most romantic places in Lisboa. Small, but cozy and well decorated. Fatima was very very nice and pleasant with us and helped us with everything we needed. There is a park place close to the flat at a very reasonable price.
We absolutely recommend this home . My wife and me had four fantastic days. -
