One Villa in the most traditional neighborhood of Lisbon with capacity to receive small groups or families. A perfectly traditional building was recovered and transformed in this cozy Villa, with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, where up to 8 people can sleep. The Villa is equipped with air conditioning, a rare facility in the area.

The Villa is distributed in 3 floors:

* Groundfloor - One bedroom (with a double bed or can be prepared with 2 individual beds+ sofa bed) and a bathroom ensuite (with shower).

* First floor - living and dining room with satelite TV, DVD, open kitchen fully equipped and another bathroom with shower.

      Great location!

      Four friends rented this unit in the alfama area for 3 nights. First of all, let me say that the service that came with this unit was really spectacular. If anything went wrong, a quick phone call was all it took to get the problem resolved. It was in a great neighborhood, with restaurants and bakeries literally around the corner, and yet very quiet at night. The unit was well appointed, very clean, and the bathrooms, while small, appeared to be newly remodeled and were very cute.

      That being said, this unit is not for the physically challenged. There is a 5-minute walk from the meeting place, some of it up stairs, and then once in the unit, two sets of very steep stairs, with the kitchen and living area in the middle. Maneuvering large suitcases was a bit difficult. I think it would be very difficult to sleep 8 people in this unit as advertised, but the four of us were very comfortable with two bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

      I would stay here again, as I loved the neighborhood and the price was very reasonable, plus the service was great. We needed a few things, like more towels, and one toilet quit working, but those problems were fixed promptly. All in all I was very happy!

      We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We booked last minute and still received great service in arranging our stay. The booking staff were very helpful and Goncarlos met us near the station, guided us to the apartment and provided useful information - he even wheeled a bag for us! We wouldn't have initially thought to stay in the alfama area but it was great with lots of nearby bars and restaurants and a bakery just a few metres around the corner but still quiet at night. The apartment itself was clean and, though small, had everything we needed and was well equipped. I would recommend this apartment to others wanting an enjoyable, relaxing stay in Lisbon. Not really suitable for anyone who can't navigate steps though!

      Modern apartment in the old part of Lisbon

      This is a lovely clean apartment with everything you could need, they even had water and wine in the fridge when we arrived. It's only five minutes' walk from Santa appollonia station where there is a supermarket and you can catch the metro. It is very easy to get to the tourist areas from here and it is really quiet at night. The Heart and Soul staff were very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions for places to visit.

      Home from home in a very authentic part of Lisbon

      Thank you to Fatima and your team for an excellent stay in the authentic alfama part of Lisbon, the booking process was very professionally managed in a very friendly way, and although our first choice of apartment was not possible, we were encouraged to try Beco das Cruzes as an alternative, we were not disappointed, the apartment was clean, bright, well maintained and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and there were lots of little extras that made us feel very welcome and very much at home. We were spoilt for choice for restaurants in the area, and we particularly liked Faz Figura, Trigo Latino, and Taberna Moderna, all of which we walked to easily. We know Lisbon well and we visit regularly, we will definitely use Heart and Soul again in the future, I can recommend with confidence you will be in good hands. Joy and family.

      This apartment is in a nice part of Lisbon - quiet with lots of character but convenient to get out and about from. It's stylish, very clean and comfortable and has all the extra equipment & kitchen bits you normally wish rental places have. The 'Heart of Lisbon' agents were fantastic - very helpful& always available- like having a local friend to offer you advice on anything.
      We had a great stay - thanks so much!

      It was 2 couple (our friends and us), and house was complitly what we were looking for. First and last flors are the bedrooms and kitchen with sitting area on the second flore. Each flore had the bathroom with the shower.You can't beat the location, we explored Lisbone on our feet. Restorans around appartment were excelent, we wouldn't recomend to eat anywhere, but in this area. Fatima was very helpful with any our questions, call taxi for us (we needed big car early in the morning). We had a good time and will take this appartment again, if we be back.

      Great apartment in the historical area of Lisbon

      I stayed here with my partner and another couple for 3 nights in September. The apartment was very clean, spacious and the rooms were big with comfortable beds. It was an added bonus having air conditioning as it was quite hot in September and not many other apartments have air conditioning.

      The area is approximately 15 minutes walk into the main area of Lisbon. However, there are a lot of good restaurants in the area and it is a nice place to stay as it is in the historial suburb of alfama.

      The service received by Fatima was excellent - upon arrival we were given detailed information on the area and also sites to see that you would not normally know about as they are outside the Lisbon area. Fatima also assisted with booking taxis to the airport on our check out as we had an early flight to catch.

      I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

      Lovely apartment in alfama!

      My husband and I honeymooned in Portugal and stayed a week in this triplex. We couldn't have been more pleased - Eduardo and Fatima were available to help answer all of our questions (via phone, email or text!), Fatima met us and gave us information about Lisbon (places to see and how to get there), and they even were kind enough to provide a bottle of champagne and chocolates since we were just married! The triplex has everything you could need - coffee maker, microwave, tv, internet, etc. and it has great design features. Plus, the location is just perfect for getting the feel of life in Lisbon. It is very well-kept with everything in excellent condition. Only detail might be the cold of Lisbon in December, which means there's a need for lots of blankets or a heater!
