The apartment is ideal for a couple (with or without children), or friends (up to 5). When coming back at the end of the day, you'll feel at home!

Cosy appartment, a perfect spot to discover the city and enjoy the old alfama district.
It was surprisingly quiet during the night, not many people had to take our small street -

Very homey! Having a member of the Heart and Soul team meet us at the apartment, then assist information and pointers for seeing Lisbon was more than expected.

Cosy appartment in heart of alfalma; very nice atmosphere. Nearby streat with local pastery shops to have nice breakfast, coffeebars etc. In the street (which is actually a flight of stairs, so be aware if you have any physical inabilities) is a (old fashioned) bathing house for those not fortunate enough to have a shower at home. Neighbours on average senior citizens; which may sound dull, but actually gives a very nice feel for the 'traditional' life. One warm evening (in november) we hear a tape recorder playing Fado, when we turned the corner we saw a neighbourhood barbeque and people (the senior citizens I was referring to) dancing in the streets... I don't recall seeing anything similar ever in amsterdam (where we live)..
the appartment is comfortable, with bathroom, kitchen, washing machine etc!
For nice diners and drinks at night we recommend different neighborhoods (like Bairro alto). Many of the bars and restaurants in alfalma (The ones with the Fado programs) places com across as tourist "traps". A nice eating street in the neighbourhood: Rua de São João da Praça! -

great weather. great location. lot of grilled food around. what else do u want from a holiday. no wonder i gained a bit of weight.

It's an excellent place to explore Lisbon. We enjoyed the stay.
The service was very peronal, couldn't be better.
Don't hesitate to book this place for a long weekend.

A friend and I stayed at the appartment. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and Fatima and friends were extremely helpful when making arrangements to do the booking and later to meet. The location is good for me (not apt for persons with walking difficulties, though), and the price-value ratio is very good. Friendly, cosy and nice. I'd go back, no doubt.
