On the 3rd floor (no lift) of a traditional building, an apartment perfect for families or groups, with 4 bedrooms (two of them with river view), 3 bathrooms (2 with shower, 1 with bathtub) a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living and dining room with river view !

The high ceilings (3,30 m) , big windows to the river and decorated walls gives this apartment a very special brightness and charm.       If you are looking for something a bit away from the hustle of the town center, and something for an extended family short stay (3 to 4 days), this is a nice apartment. This is a short walk to the train/metro station (with a grocery inside). It is located on one of those cobblestone, narrow, charming streets of the old part of Lisbon 2 streets from the water (though no swimming in this area of the coast, more business and several abandoned buildings along the coast..such potential). The check in and check out was smooth.. you will have a binder full of information about the area. It was a nice start to our european trip.

      A good size and affordable apartment with four bedrooms and three shower-rooms so useful for a group travelling together. A detailed folder of relevant information about the apartment and local area was provided by the owner which was very useful. There are a few mini-markets and bars nearby as well as a 28 tram stop a short walk away. Lovely views of the water from the living room windows. The only bugbear was the the lack of light on the internal spiral staircase to the apartment.

      -contact was good and consistent with the description on the web.
      -the apartment is very functional, well equipped, clean, with comfortable beds. Home is nicely designed.
      -the location is ideal. Near the subway, train, bus and tram. Next to the house bakery, market, cafe. The description on the Internet is accordance with reality.
      -Most liked the location in a beautiful, old, full climate alfama.

      This was a good place to stay their where 9 of us booked in but only 7 traveled with the group in the end. It says you can sleep 12 but i would not like to sleep. 12 the place had a good view and the local rep was very helpful. don't book if you cant walk up the stairs very well.

      Great apartment with lovely views. Great welcome from 'Heart and Soul Lisboa ' good helpful information and explanation.( Pay attention to the good advice about taxi's ,you recieve before you leave the airport!) We felt in the heart of the city with plenty on the door step to see and do but the apartment was also a relaxing place to read a book and rest our feet. Lisbon it's self was a great destination for a holiday plenty to do,lots of atmosphere and warm friendly helpful people. The only reason we have not given an excellent was the apartment needs a few more quality pans/ knives/ chopping boards ect for people who like to cook.

      great place and great people! the pictures where exactly like it was and the bathrooms were nice and clean. we can recommend it. any time again with Heart & Sould and Remedios III or any other of their places.

      All our bookings were done by email and everything went smoothly. One of our party had an accident 10 days before we were due to arrive and had to have an operation which resulted in him having to wear a leg brace. He also needed a wheelchair which was organised by the owners and was in the apartment when we arrived. Although there was no lift he did manage the stairs slowly.
      We were met on arrival and given all the infomation we needed. We also had help in contacting the airline over our disabled passenger and ordering taxi's for the early return journey.
      The beds were clean and fresh, the three bathrooms were immaculate as was the rest of the apartment.
      The location for us was perfect,in the old quarter and close to all transport. The views from the apartment over the Tagus were excellent.
      In the street were several lovely small restaurants serving great Portuguese food. For 10 of us we never paid more than 175 euros for the whole meal including starters and drinks. You must try the Dorada a superb grilled fish dish.
      The only difficulty we had was with on the footpaths, they are not good for wheelchairs.
