Description from the owner
l'Isle sur la Sogue is famous for its numerous antiques and brocante shops, especially the Sunday antique market is famous. The river La Sorgue runs through the centre of the town, with several water mills. You will surely enjoy the riverside with its many restaurants and outdoor cafés.
Our villa La Carestie is situated on a land of 4000m2. All property is fenced.
The vineyard Domaine de la Gasqui lies at 300m. walking distance, where you can taste and buy biologically produced wine. The provence Country Golfclub lies at 3 car minutes.

La Carestie is quietly situated but not isolated.
There is enough parking space under the trees.
The air is fresh and the views are free and wide. There are about 20 olivetrees on our land and we have plenty of lavender plants around us.
Golf and kayaking is very closeby. Favorite trips are to: Avignon, St. Rémy, Arles, Gordes, Rousillon, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Pont du Gard and Nîmes.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in august with our 3 adult children and their partners. What a delightful spot and the owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The house is beautiful, impeccably clean and the pool was just an extra bonus. It was equipped with everything a guest would need and more. This place is a gem.
