This stone built thatched cottage is in a rural location, five miles from Lismore in County Waterford and sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms. Mick Moore’s Cottage is a stone-built traditional cottage, surrounded by farmland, just five miles from the town of Lismore in County Waterford. This all ground floor cottage is split with the living quarters and main bedroom in the thatched cottage building and sleeping quarters in a separate barn conversion building across the courtyard. This cottage can sleep up to 6 people and has three bedrooms, consisting of two double bedrooms and a double futon bed, as well as two family bathrooms. T...he cottage also has a fitted kitchen with dining area, woodburner and Belfast sink and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside, this cottage has off road parking for 4 cars and a large garden and patio area with furniture. Mick Moore’s Cottage is an ideal holiday home for a peaceful retreat, with plenty to see and do nearby.

Amenities: Gas central heating (in barn conversion and thatched cottage) with woodburners in sitting room and kitchen. Electric oven, hob and grill, microwave, fridge. Freezer and washing machine in utility area. TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, iPod dock. Library of books, games and DVDs. Gas and electricity charged via meter reading (first €20 inc. in rent). Starter packs for woodburners inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 4 cars. Large garden and patio area with furniture and folding canvas-slung chairs (can be used inside and outside the property). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, pub and petrol station 1 mile. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Lovely cottage set in its own garden, two log burners and plenty of walking. Watch out for dead sheep up high in the mountains (the locals promised us there is nt a huge cat up there), but unless you are a keen walker you won't get that far. Our only complaint at first was that there was no internet access in the cottage, but after a few days it we were quite happy without it. 45 minutes from the beach at ardmore, beautiful!

  Mick Moore's Cottage is a beautiful thatched cottage (and converted barn) - we had a very happy holiday there and would recommend it to others. There were 5 of us and we were very comfy - we could have been equally comfortable if we had been 6! The kitchen is such a snug cosy room we hardly used the sitting room at all - just sat round the table and the warming wood burning stove. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and it is a very good kicking off point for wonderful walks, beautiful gardens and places of interest. Do go there!
