Litchfield by the Sea is a 24 hour guard gated community filled with amenities including private beach access, beach front clubhouse, tennis courts, bike trails, crabbing dock and more. Also, enjoy the Lakeside community pool. Just a short drive North to Myrtle Beach. Great restaurants such as Quigley's Pint and Plate and Louis's at Sanfords are right across the street. Piggly Wiggly grocery store is in the same shopping center. Starbucks is a 3 minute walk from 63A Lakeside Villa. We very much enjoyed our stay at this immaculately clean condo. It appears that all of the linens and bedding are brand new and the kitchen is completely stocked with everything to easily cook most meals. I was with my 84 year old Mom so I appreciated the nice open feeling of the kitchen/living room area that had many windows for the sun to come in. We also spent a lot of time on the lovely screened in porch on the back which had a nice table to eat outside.
The condo is minutes from the beach which has a large deck area overlooking the ocean which my Mom was absolutely thrilled with. We also very much enjoyed having access to the SC state park right on the ocean only a few miles away. Had access to great seafood restaurants in Murrels Inlet only a few miles away as well.Will definitely come back with my family!

this was a beautiful, updated home. Really enjoyed the one story floor plan for ease in moving in and out of the home. Fully stocked kitchen although we did have a time at first understanding the electricity of the stove. (the light switch had to be on to work the stove) Wish it would have had a view of the lake-little noisy on the street. We used the indoor pool and hot tub and a trolley service was available to the beach but it was also just a short walk. We really enjoyed the common beach area and deck as the beach was a liitle cold with bathrooms nearby. Litchfield is one of the most beautiful places on the beach. The grounds are second to none. The people are friendly and accomodating. I never want to leave!

As my husband and I drove away from this Remodeled Villa at Litchfield-by-the-Sea on Pawleys Island, I couldn't wait to share our find with anyone looking for a vacaton rental on Pawleys Island.
As soon as we walked in the front door, we both started smiling:) The Villa is tastefully decorated, but not over decorated, extremely clean, the kitchen is well stocked and bedrooms are cozy and comfortable; this villa is located close to everything you would want on a beach and/or golf vacation.
Brett was very helpful and friendly - putting us both at ease. We often rent from Vrbo and Homeaway and have placed this villa at the top of our list.
Oh and so much to do! First - the beach is a 10 minute walk with a first class beach club with rest rooms and plenty of beach chairs. The pool for the Lakeside Villa is right next door if you prefer a pool to the ocean. Starbuck's, Webster's Restaurant, the fitness center, indoor pool, bike rentals, Summerhouse pool with lazy river, and indoor and outdoor hot tubs are all a short walk. Second - the area is loaded with fabulous restaurants both on Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet -there are too many to mention:) Dinner and cocktails on the large screened porch is a great option. Directly across from Lbts in the shopping plaza is a Piggly Wiggly for groceries, Eggs Up Grill, liquor store, and countless other small shops. "Lovely Nails" was a nice find for a vacation pedicure and manicure.
Golf courses are abundant - both on Pawleys and the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand area. Frank Theatres for movies, Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington State Park are all a short drive.
We can't think of one thing we didn't like about this villa, but our favorite things were walking on the beach, watching the sunset at Murrells Inlet, golf, biking on the beach and bike paths and feeling at home in this villa.
We recommend this Villa to anyone that will treat it with the respect it deserves! We have already booked our next stay:)

This Lakeside villa is a real find for us. We would highly recommend this spacious unit as it has been recently and professionally renovated. The screened back porch was a relaxing and private retreat after long days on the beach.

Great location and nicely appointed
Loved this Lakeside Villa at Litchfield by the Sea. Brett & Cherie made every effort to make this a terrific vacation for us. The furnishings were very nice including the three flat screen televisions. The kitchen was well equipped which we appreciated since we prefer to "eat in". Lovely screened in porch for outdoor dining was a bit hit for us too.
We highly recommend staying here and will do so again in the future.
