      Absolutely Wonderful!!

Left on 07/08/2010 for a stay in May 2010

We recently stayed at anglers Rest and had a marvelous time. The home has all of the space and conveniences you could possibly want while vacationing. The views are spectacular especially at sunrise. Even though the house is located in town you don't feel like you are in town when you look across the creek and river to the beautiful mountains. We highly recommend anglers Rest!!!

      Magnificent

Left on 06/14/2010 for a stay in June 2010

Staying at angler's Rest was one of the most magnificent vacations our family have ever been on. The house was beautiful and sat majestically on the Yellowstone River where just sitting outside on the porch and musing about the beauty and serenity of nature lowered our blood pressure by 50 points. It had every convenience we could ask for. The neighbors and townsfolk were so friendly, we were all ready to pack up and leave the big city of So. California and move to Livingston, Mt. We came home refreshed, rejuvenated, and renewed. We would recommend this vacation to any and everyone.

Overall the experience at the Angler's Rest was very positive. The information we got in advance was very helpful. The directions to the house, how to get in, etc. were very good.

The location of the house worked out well for us. The neighborhood was nice. We took lots of walks and were never bothered by anyone or any dogs, although there were plenty around.

The house worked out quite well. There are some items that do need some attention. There were a couple of chairs in the living room area that needed repair. One screw had come out of the chair arm and I fixed that. Onother of the chairs has a bad leg that needs tightening. (We tried but were unsuccessful at fixing that one.)

The kitchen and living room areas were not very well cleaned before we arrived. This should at least be mentioned to the house cleaner.

The back screen door needs to be fixed. It is continually off its track.

The closet door in the small bedroom was off the track.

The cable TV instructions need to be changed. The TV in the living room needs to be set on channel 60 in order to get any reception. It says that it is supposed to be on channel 3 or 4. I had to call the cable company and get instructions on how to get it to work. It would also be nice to have access to the local network stations.

      That should do it.

      Great family vacation

Left on 07/13/2009 for a stay in July 2009

We rented this house for a week for a family vacation. We were 7 adults, one baby and a dog. We were very happy with the house, the neighborhood and the help from Lisa at Montana Vacation Rentals. The views from the house are amazing and my husband and father in law enjoyed fishing right from their own river. Bozeman is a short drive away, but we felt that getting to Yellowstone for day trips was a little too far.

We were extremely happy with the beds! they were so comfortable. The hot tub was also a nice addition.

The house could use a recycling bin, we felt guilty about throwing away all those bottles and cans. Emigrant has recycling dumpsters but we found this at the end of our trip.

Overall we loved our stay and Montana is such a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

      Manager

      Hello Nat88 -

Thank you for your nice comments about Angler's Rest, and we're happy that it worked so well for your big group. We think it's a great spot, too. We're sorry that you didn't find the recycling bins. They are tucked in the hall closet. And we wish that you'd made the trip into Yellowstone from Angler's Rest. It's an absolutely beautiful drive of just about one hour, through some of the prettiest country in the state. Next time!

We hope that you will be our guests again soon.
