Beautifully situated on the banks of the Zambezi River this family cottage offers the best of both worlds when visiting the Victoria Falls, Zambia-only 30minutes drive away, however far enough from the busy hotels and buzzing Helicopters to provide a real retreat for the mind and soul.
This comfortable home boasts two double/twin en-suite bedrooms, one children’s bedroom, a lounge, private dining, deck and rock splash pool with magnificent views of the river by day and stunning starry skies by night. Our family (2 adults, 3 children) spent 3 very happy nights at Chundukwa Cottage. Granny and Grandpa stayed in one of the other chalet rooms, but joined us for all meals and campfires! The service was attentive and personal, yet discreet. Lovely view of the river, very peaceful setting. Great activities (sunset cruise, horse ride, village visit, falls and zip-wire). Sensible advice given to ensure our children's safety.

We had a brilliant holiday at Chundukwa. The location is wonderful, right on the Zambezi and the cottage was very comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to help us. We particularly enjoyed the late afternoon river cruise - we relaxed cruising down the Zambezi sipping sundowners and saw a lot of wildlife. Overall it was a really special experience and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Zambia.
