It's a great location in residential area of pedestrian city centre. Close to river Ljubljanica and it's wonderful banks where you can have nice relaxing walks, maybe take time to read a book or even having romantic dinner/breakfast on coffee tables just next to river. Approx 70 m from apartment is walking bridge and on the other side you can find open photo exhibition, coffee bars, bakery, small grocery store, restaurants such as Bosnian Harambaša.
Few meters from apartment is wine cellar from region, called Primorska. Good Slovenian wines for reasonable price and before deciding which one is best for you can actually taste them. Close is also coffee bar offering morning coffees for just 1 eur, if you don't feel like cooking your own.
Grocery store is approx 200 m from apartment, garage 70 m, children's playground 250m.
It's actually green part of old city centre, where many embassies found their home.
Parking is difficult in centre in general. However, to apartment belongs also garage, unfortunately standard Slovenian size if 12square meters, so bigger cars don't fit. But for those cars parking is possible at river bank (public parking, ask for paying details) or with some time and luck free parking can be find in residential area.
Access to attractions is easy: everything is in walking distance. To Prešeren square, for example, is 10 minutes of walk.
Nearby is also city's renting bike station, bus station, just in case if needed.

Me and my family stayed in the apartment recently and were surprised by the quality of accommodation. It's location on the very edge of Ljubljana city center allowed us to walk everywhere (The Three Bridges are only 500 m away) but also allowed us to stay away from the noise we often encountered in other centrally located apartments. We could also access it by car and the garage is only 50m away. The apartment is duplex, allowing us to put children to sleep in the ground floor bedroom while my wife and I could enjoy some alone time in the first floor living room. We only met the owners when we arrived but they were very friendly and provided us with sume useful suggestions for visits. We highly recommend this place.

We (me, my husband and two daughters) had a great stay!!! For us, the location was perfect. Apartment is not in a busy street and close is Ljubljanica river were we had lovely walks with children.
I liked the fact that apartment has two floors - so when the children were sleeping, me and my husband stayed in upper floor and no need to worry about being too nosy for children.
Owners provided baby cot and chair - and for no extra fees!!! Really great!!! Kitchen had all for cooking meals. The grocery and bakery are close which was important to us.
Location is so central that we were able to walk also with children.
We decided not to rent a garage - parking space (huge, at river side), free during weekend and no problem to park at all. -

We stayed in their one-bedroom-apartment for three nights. Excellent location!! Just walk over the bridge, and you are almost in the old-town-center!
The Pustovrh Family are very nice and helpful! The city is very beautiful. Easy to make adventures to Postojna/ Lake Bled. Very beautiful places!!! We would like to come back and stay in the same apartment! We definitely will recommend this rental to all of our friends!!! -

It was just what we (1 couple, two other lads) needed, great facilities, nice rooms, confy bed and very clean.
Apartment was fitted with all mod cons, inc fridge, microwave, hob etc.
Having the free wifi was really useful too.
Only issue was having living room as a bedroom, but sofa bed was very comfy.
Apartment was in a very quiet residential street, closed to public traffic. It was very handy being so close to the old town, probably about 5 mins, close to shops, restaurants and bars.
Everyone had a great time.
Apartment slightly chilly, but it was cold for the time of year.
Landlady couldn't have been more helpful with friendly advice on what to do and where to go. Help advise on local hotels for some other friends that were joining us. -

15 minutes for a family w/small children to walk from our apartment alog the river to the triple bridge. -

Super apartment to rent - provided everything we could need (including wifi and washing machine). Clean, nice and freshly decorated, hot shower and great heating. The owner's friendly husband met us on arrival and gave lots of tips and information about what to see and do. Excellent location - 2 mins walk to main street. Would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend.

Ljubljana is a very charming and very interesting city--a great place to begin our European travels. Ales and Petra's apartment made it all the better. The apartment has a nice layout with 2 levels and was more than enough room for my party of 3. While the building itself is old, the apartment has been rehabbed and is furnished quite modernly (think Ikea). The bathroom is huge by European standards and has a washer. It is super clean, the beds were comfortable and the location is perfect-- just a short walk to the center of Old Town Ljubljana with its cafes, shops, the wonderful Saturday open air market and the castle. There is a bus stop that is a couple minutes away--it'll get you to the train/bus station in about 7 minutes. Ales was there to meet us at the apartment and was really helpful in getting us started on our exploration of Ljubljana. I really hope to go back to Ljubljana and will definitely stay at this apartment!!

Ales picked us up from the train station even though we arrived late on a Sunday night and after the 9 hour train trip from Budapest it was a joy to see him waiting for us. Apartment is really close to City Centre as name suggests, but just outside of the real "busy" area so has best of best worlds. There is a bar on the opposite corner which, although not loud, can have a constant murmur into the early hours, but it is a great place to relax after a day walking around town or driving into the country. Parking difficult, but is the same all over Ljubljana. would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Owner was friendly and helpful and spoke near perfect English. She makes herself available for any questions or needs you might have during the stay, we called to ask about parking since several cars had been booted in the neighborhood.
The apt is nice and clean and has pretty much everything you'd need for a short-term stay. Grocery story is a 5 min. walk and the pizzeria around the corner is cheap and super good. There are several bars in the area that are good for a drink but it never got really noisy for us. If you're sensitive to noise, make sure you take the bedroom downstairs, it gets loud in the mornings when cars drive by.
Would definitely recommend this apt to anyone visiting Ljubljana. -

We spent two weeks in Slovenia and Croatia in June 2011. Stayed in 7 different accommodations and this is the best that we will rate - the location, the cleaniness and comfortability. You can walk to the center in less than 10 mins or train/bus station in 20 mins. There is a grocery shop across the road and if you feel like, you can cook easily as the apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable and washroom is clean. Petra is so very responsive and helpful. We love this apartment and it made our stay very memorable.

The apartment is very well appointed, clean and in a great location close to the old town. The owners speak English and are very friendly and helpful. They will collect you from either the train station or airport. We stayed here for 3 months in 2010 and really enjoyed the experience.

Arrived at the appointed time (owner lives 20 mins away) to find Petra just drawing up in her car. Shown round the apartment - we only stayed 3 nights, but with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and the large (downstairs) bedroom with walk in wardrobe and the bathroom (with washing machine) we could have stayed a month with no problem!!
Everything clean and tidy and working. Town centre less than 10 minutes walk away and a brilliant bar (Arhiv) less than 100 metres away.
We could not have wished for anything more (apart from longer!)

Al I can say was it was gem! I traveled with my family for seven weeks and Petra's apartment was easily the best place we stayed in. It was only about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre and the triple bridge, 5 minute walk to a market, and across the street from a private wine seller and the river. It had laundry, and a fully stocked and new kitchen. It was everything we could have hoped for!
Petra met us at the apartment and made getting settled in so very easy. I wish all our rental experiences could have been this good!

I pop into Ljubljana from time to time, and I have previously stayed in hotels. I won't anymore, at least if the Pustovrh's have space for me. The flat they rented me was spic and span and had all the modcons, including WiFi, cable TV with more channels than I could deal with not to mention a washer and a kitchenette.
The location was excellent, too. In a peaceful neighborhood, but within 20 meters of a few good restaurants and cafes, it's also less than a five-hundred meter walk into Ljubljana's center. A bus stop is 200 meters distant.
The Pustovrh's are very friendly and efficient. A pleasure to work with.
I have no hesitation in recommending them and their flats to anyone. -

Friendly welcome from Sasha. Comfortable apartment for four adults. Appreciated the tv and wifi access. Lovely walk into town,the outside bars and the Christmas market. Ljubljana is a small and vibrant city. The view from the castle tower was great and Metelkova is interesting.

I stayed in this apartment for 4 days and enjoyed every day/night. It has a somewhat strange layout, bedroom/toilet-showerroom are halfway below streetlevel and kitchen/living is above streetlevel. However, I had no trouble sleeping, streetnoice did not enter the apartment during my stay. Amenities and decor are modern and of a high standard with a complete kitchen.
The family is very friendly and they get you from and to the airport at a moderate fee. No waiting for a taxi or bus and searching for directions.
Ljubljana is a very nice town and with an apartment like this your stay will be relaxed and a memorable one. -

The apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the river and Old Town Ljubljana. It rained the whole time we were there so it was good having 2 good restaurants (a Pizzeria & Chinese place) just 2 blocks away. The supermarket was only a 2 block walk in the other direction.
Petra waited for us to arrive in our rental car and helped us park (which isn't easy on the small street). She gave us all the information we could possibly need and generously encouraged us to use the coffee and food that was in the apartment.
The apartment itself was the best equipped of all the ones we stayed in in Eastern Europe. It even had a washing machine. There were only two negatives. One was having to use the blow dryer in the hallway because it did not work in the bathroom there. The other was the noise from the bar/cafe nearby. Most nights it ended by 10, but on Friday the reveling Tgif crowd was so loud it sounded as if it were right there in the apartment. Fortunately, it tapered down at 11. -

My girlfriend and I had a really nice stay in this apartment. We were picked up at the station by the friendly owner Petra and found the apartment to be spotless, cosy and just a short stroll into the heart of lovely Ljubljana.. A definite recommend..!

Very good pre-holiday service and information via email and at apartment.
The apartment was good for our needs and very central for supermarkets and bars. Lubljana is a very small capital city. Lubljana has a relaxed atmosphere with no hint of danger, however we visited at easter and many shops and restaurants were shut. -

The service was absolute perfection. Petra and Alex were wonderful and could not possibly have done more to make our holiday wonderful.
The apartment was in a perfect location being in a quiet street but few minutes from the Old Town of Ljubljana, everywhere only a few minutes walk. Being on 2 floors it felt very spacious and comfortable. We were very happy and extended our stay.
If I had to make a criticism, which is very personal to me, I would have liked a bath and not just a shower but obviously this was known in advance of our stay.

The apartment is in excellent condition, it has all
things that you will expect in one apartment. One
thing that really impressed me is that the
apartment is in the centre and it is so quite
area.All things that you need are around: Pubs, grocery shop, restaurants. You are two minutes away
from the Castle which is one of the places must
see.Moreover, the owners are very supportive, they
made a booklet with information FAQ that gives you
a lot of information about Slovenia, from sight
seeing to medical care.
If I will go back to Ljubljana, I will very gladly
