The cottage was warm and comfortable and ideally located, close to amenities and shops, and with local sights and attractions in every direction. After a days sightseeing it was great to be able to sit outside either in the secluded back garden, or in the front, in the evening sunshine overlooking the valley and the mountains opposite. The only possible drawback was that there was only just room to park our Toyota avensis - if you had a larger car you'd have to park it 100 yards or so away. I'd highly recommend this.

This cottage was very cosy. It was set in a beautiful area of Wales and was great to use as a base. We had a 23 month old and various things (stairs, fire hearth)weren't particularly child safe but if you keep an eye out, it was fine. The kitchen was very well stocked and the whole house was very clean. It was a great holiday

Very pleasant cottage but no facilities within walking distance, not even a pub to have a drink.

lovly little cottage that had been referbed to a good standerd and well maintained. The view was fantastic and there was great walking in easy reach, the mountains were on your door step.
Parking was a little limited and the village had a little short fall on the amenity front, both pubs had closed, but there was pubs, shops and take aways within easy driving distance.
All in all nice place to stay in a great location just a shame about the rain which didn't stop but then thats winter in north Wales what did i expect.
Love the view!

When we arrived, the owner had just driven 100 miles to make sure the heating was working properly, and left us a welcome bottle of wine!
The cottage was very pretty, nicely decorated and very cosy. The view across the valley was absolutely spectacular and great to come home to.
The small parking and the narrow lane didn't bother us, we had two very small cars, but it could pose problems for bigger cars.
Only 2 small niggles, the benches at the kitchen table were a bit difficult for Dad to sit on, he needs a back to rest on, and found it hard to squeeze in against the wall. Also the lighting in the living room wasn't good for reading.
Our biggest problem was the weather though, and we certainly don't hold that against anyone :)
