Description from the owner
Relaxing on a timber balcony high in the trees, above fields, watching sailing boats on the estuary, beyond which lies the sea fringed by hills and mountains. Include the sun setting over this scene, some bird song, and maybe a glass of something to hand…… this could be a description of your stay at Tree Tops, a Snowdonia cottage that sets a high standard for self catering.
Beautiful walks start at your front door in this area known as Ardudwy in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Lanes and footpaths lead down to the coast or inland rise towards the peaks of the Rhinog Mountains. The Cambrian Coast railway stops at Pensarn le...ss than half a mile away and cycle routes are well sign posted. There is one road along the coast and no other routes into the area.
Only minutes from miles of beaches, which are seldom busy, and hill and mountain tracks which can be enjoyed in solitude for much of the time, this Wales cottage is ideally located.
Tree Tops is a Snowdonia cottage converted from a two storey building in 2007 and it is furnished in a contemporary style. The accommodation is ideal for a couple.
The kitchen ( incl. cooker, microwave, washer/drier, fridge etc), dining and living area ( recliner sofa, TV/DVD/ radio) is upstairs with access to the balcony (table and chairs).
Downstairs is one double bedroom, toilet and shower room, with access to the private garden.
Parking is in front of the house, alongside the lane to the village of Llanbedr past woods and fields.
A gas fired boiler heats the water and powers the central heating.
In the interests of subsequent visitors, we regret pets are not permitted, nor any smoking in the building.
The stairs are steeper than normal and could prove difficult if you have limited mobility.Read more

Perfect cottage in a perfect location
The cottage itself was lovely. Lynn and Martin had thought of everything to make our stay extra special. There was milk and cake waiting on our arrival. When we mentioned that we planned to walk up Snowdon Martin printed off the weather reports so that we could pick the best day to go. The cottage is situated in a great location. We could easily walk into Llanbedr in an evening where there are 2 pubs both serving food. We were able to explore the local area visiting Harlech beach which is stunning, Barmouth which is a traditional seaside town and could easily reach the mountains in Snowdonia. Thank you both for a memorable and very very enjoyable holiday. Read more

First class !!!
Cottage was immaculately clean, very tastefully decorated and fitted to a high spec, and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay.
The owner went the extra mile to add personal touches such as a fresh bunch of flowers, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and cake on arrival, even supplying food to feed the birds and squirrels that are very much a part of the cottages beautiful surroundings.
It was located in a quiet spot with beautiful views but still within a 15 minute stroll down a pretty lane to the local pub, which we found to provide very decent pub grub.
Thought it was well worth the money and would definitely go again Read more

Hidden Gem - Fabulous
I have just returned from a long weekend stay with my partner at Tree Tops Cottage and couldn't be happier with the accommodation and service from Martin and Lynn.
The cottage is spotlessly clean and immaculately decorated and is equipped with all mod con's needed to make your stay a comfortable and pleasurable experience.
We were lucky enough to have nice weather during our stay, which enabled us to go for nice long walks around the surrounding areas and nice drives out to Barnmouth. We also managed to squeeze in a brief visit to the two nearby pubs which were full of very friendly and welcoming people.
Martin and Lynn went beyond expectation to make our stay a fantastic experience from providing a fresh pint of milk for our arrival and even seeds to feed the birds and squirrels.
I would recommend Tree Tops as a definite place to visit and could guarantee that you would not be disappointed. We are already looking at a return visit!!

After a stressful couple of months for myself and best friend Jackie, we were so lucky to have found Treetops, it definitely is a little piece of heaven! We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Martin and Lynn who really have thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather when we stayed in October and spent many hours sitting out taking in the fabulous views and amazing sun set over the estuary.A very big thank you to Martin and Lynn for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage, cannot wait to come back and would definitely recommend it to anyone whether looking for energetic walks or rest and relaxation. Outstanding accomodation with amazing views.
From the moment you walk through the door you cannot help being pleased with the quality of tree tops. You find yourself being drawn to the patio door and out onto the balcony. There you can sit and watch the birds and squirrel feed on the bird table, set in the tree top, or follow your gaze across the near fields and out to sea. A truly wonderful holiday. Read more

In an urgent need for a holiday, Tree Tops offered the relaxatio
Tree Tops is a beautiful, well maintained and fully equipped cottage in a very nice location, owned by lovely people. We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage, which felt like being home straight away.
There's very nice walks around, to the waterfalls and lakes or further into the Rhinog mountains.
The village pub and hotel are an option for food, which can be reached in a 15 min walk.
We did fancy cooking ourselves, and found everything we needed in the well arranged kitchen.
We enjoyed a drink and 'al fresco' dining on the balkony, with nice views and company of the cute squirrels.
The new sofa is very comfortable and was the perfect place to spend the only slightly rainy day in the whole week.
Thanks to Martin and Lynn, for this very relaxing holiday! Read more

Perfect cottage for a perfect holiday
We stayed for two weeks (from 6.07 to 19.07.13) in the cottage. We were looking specifically for a cottage that accomodates only a couple and isn't too big for the two of us. On top of that, the cottage should give a feeling of being alone without actually being isolated from civilization. The Tree Tops cottage fulfilled these expectations perfectly. The cottage is next to the house of the owners, but there are enough trees between the two terrains to give us privacy even in the garden. It is very quiet, with a beautiful view on the ocean from the balcony and the garden. Everything was super clean. There was some humidity coming out of the bathroom, but it didn't bother us at all, as it was usually sufficient to air the room well.
The cottage is a great starting point for a lot of walks. Every day, we took the car and drove (never more than 1 hour) to a specific walk. We would walk in the morning, and come back in the afternoon to relax. Martin and Lynn made a list of places of interest in the area (restaurants, supermarkets, car fuel,...), which came in handy more than one time.
The closest village, Llanbeder, is about 20 min. walk away, which is very convenient for a night out to one of the two pubs (good pub food, nice surroundings). Harlech (main groceries, castle,...) is less than a 10 minutes drive away, which is also very nice.
We didn't get bored one single minute, there is so much to do in this area (especially hiking). We got really lucky with the weather as it did not rain one single time during the two weeks we spent there.
We definitely wish to come back some time in the future!
Restful accomodation and good location.
Good location approx midway between Barmouth and Harlech with nearby access to local beaches and Snowdonia. Ideal base for walking either around coast or in national park. Also local station approx 10mins walk. The cottage is well cared for and offers a very good standard of accommodation with coastal views from the balcony. Read more

Feels like home..
Our third visit to Treetops and we just love it. Martin and Lynn are very warm and friendly and always happy to advise. This lovely little cottage nestles up in the trees and provides wonderful and spectacular views over the bay. Its location is well suited to visiting the beautiful beaches and excellent walking in Snowdonia. The beautiful Llyn Peninsula to the North and Barmouth with its Mawddach Trail to the South. Our home from home...can't wait for our next visit! Read more

Perfect weekend getaway.
Wanting to take advantage of a long Bank Holiday weekend away from London, we decided to spend the few days in scenic Snowdonia, and Tree Tops Cottage was the perfect accommodation for it. As a young professional couple, it had everything we needed to make our trip away from the City both comfortable and enjoyable. The cottage looks rather small from the outside but, spread across two floors, every room is surprisingly spacious - and the balcony and garden over-looking the sea is just stunning! The interior design of the cottage is contemporary and modern, whilst the decor helps retain the rustic feel of a rural escape. The cottage is also very well-equipped (e.g. the kitchen has everything you'll need to cook up a feast!) so you only really need to bring clothes and food with you.
One thing that is definitely worth noting though is the driveway leading up to the cottage - you have to drive ever so cautiously! The road is very narrow and there are a lot of bends so its difficult to see oncoming traffic. But otherwise, its a very peaceful and quiet area and it was very easy and quick for us to feel relaxed there. Its definitely worth bringing your car and a full tank of gas though, as most of the nearby sites, towns and activities require a short drive to.
Lastly, just a word about Martin and Lynn who own/run the cottage. They definitely made us feel at home here. They are very friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely happy to do whatever they could to make our trip as comfortable as possible (although, we never really needed to test this as the cottage was sufficiently comfortable as it was!). Thanks guys!
Would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location
We arrived and were met by Martin, who was very friendly and gave us some really useful tips about the area.
We were extremely pleased with how lovely the cottage was! It really is beautiful and totally pristine. It's even better than the photos would lead you to believe. Martin and Lynn's attention to detail is quite remarkable - it has everything you could possibly need for a great break, long or short.
The surrounding area is really lovely and peaceful, and there is plenty to do nearby, whether it be on the beach, up a mountain or in a quaint village.

If you like snowdonia this is the place to stay, it is the perfect location for beaches, walking and visiting Snowdon mountain. The cottage is tucked away by itself, it is in top class condition and was spotlessly clean. It has amazing views from the balcony plus lots of wildlife to see. The owner Martin lives just down the road, he was really helpful and made us feel very welcome, also the information he supplied was excellent. Wow what an amazing weeks holiday, yes the location is great, the scenery stunning, the activities endless ..
The real difference to our stay was the perfection attained by staying at TreeTops. From the initial contact, to the personal welcome, tour of property, and advice offered, the whole stay was faultless.
The advice offered in the welcome pack was spot on and invaluable, as was Martins local hints and tips. All this, plus hot weather, warm sea, deserted beaches, star gazing on the balcony in the trees...
Can't wait to return !!
perfect hideaway for two
We had a fantastic week staying in Treetops. It is in a fantastic location-private and secluded, but a short walk from the village and pubs. One of the best things was sitting on the balcony in the evening, with a glass of wine, taking in the stunning view across the bay. It is furnished to a high standard, with everything you could need, and the owners who live just down the road are friendly and helpful. A perfect place to stay in a beautiful area.
We had one weeks holiday in June 2012 and found the accommodation and Martin's helpfulness second to none. Tree Tops is as described and has all the amenities to make for a very comfortable stay. The only drawback is the perhaps the parking at the front. I would recommend that people take up Martin's offer of parking outside his house.
Lovely location - personalised service
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The house is well located on the side of a hill, and overlooks the beach to the West.
Although the cottage seems small from the photographs, we found that it was perfectly sized for a couple.
The most impressive points for us were the cleanliness of the flat and the personalised service from Martin and Lynn.

wonderful hide away
Great house with exceptionally cleanliness! V friendly owners with great tips for local attractions and food. Location wonderful with easy access to both beaches and hill walks. Need to be steady on your feet to negotiate steep narrow stairs in the house and would recommend taking a torch if you come back in the dark from the nearby village. This was only a 15 min walk away through picturesque countryside.
Perfect relaxing break
We had a wonderful break staying at Tree Tops. The cottage is perfect for a couple, modern and cosy with everything you could need (fantastic shower, very comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchen). The location is perfect, Lynn and Martin were very welcoming and the balcony is a great addition to the property attracting a variety of birds as well as a friendly squirrel!
We would highly recommend Tree Tops and plan to return in the near future.
Tree Tops is a perfect little getaway set into the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Martin and Lynn managed to accommodate us in last minute and when we arrived for our long weekend we were more than delighted with what we found. The cottage provides everything you could possibly need for a great holiday.

Relaxing with the birds.....
Staying in November most of Wales is closed, but that didn;t matter to us! We were tucked up safe and warm in this amazing cottage in the tree tops, litterally!
The cottage was absouloutly spotless when we arrived and it has EVERYTHING you need to make your stay perfect.
It is so quiet and peacful and there are uninterupted views all the way to the sea!
The birdtable is engeanious and we were able to spy so many, blue birds, coal birds, great birds, nuthatch, chaffinch, robin, tree sparrows and more!
I really would recommend this place to anyone especially as the owners are so helpful.. but even though they are not far they are very respectful of your privacy and the cottage is perfect if you want that. It is totally secluded by the trees and you wouldn't know there was anyone else around.

A Week of Peace and Quiet!
Stayed for week in Treetops in September. Beautiful location with fantastic views from the balcony of the fields down to the sea. The sunsets were lovely. The cottage is small but caters for everything you could need. The bed is comfortable and the shower is fantastic. A good base for exploring North Wales, and a fifteen minute walk through the trees to the nearby village of Llanbedr. Very quiet location - loved all the birds that came to the feeders on the balcony and the squirrel and his acrobatics made us laugh. Saw a red kite and lay in bed at night and heard the owls outside. Martin and Lynn make you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. All in all a lovely week away from the frantic pace of life at home and work! Read more

Great to see you again and know that your week was so enjoyable.
Amazing cottage, peace and tranquility, total relaxation!
My wife and I were looking for somewhere off the beaten track, where we could lock ourselves away if we wanted or go off into the country and stroll in the hills or along a beach.
Well, this is the cottage hideaway and area of outstanding beauty that ticked all the boxes we could have hoped for! The reception from Martin on arrival was brilliant, he gave us all the local information we needed, shopping, walks, places to visit etc and how to work everything in the cottage. Then there were the touches that Lynn provided, tea, lovely fresh ground coffee, milk, herbs to use for cooking, every item of cooking, crockery and utensil you could need.
The birds feeding outside the balcony were a treat to watch; Greenfinches, Chaffinches, a Robin and a Nuthatch (first time I've seen one!). Also there is the Squirrel, lots more nuts needed!
Tree Tops is in immaculate order and a real treat to stay in. Must also mention the bed and bedding, so so comfortable!
We totally switched off from everyday life and had a lovely time. Thank you Martin and Lynn, we simply must come back again sometime! Read more

Arrived at Tree Tops to a warm welcome from Martin who escorted us to the cottage, gave us a short tour and explained how everything worked. Tree Tops is a marvellous place with large comfy bed, great powerful shower, verandah with beautiful views including sunsets wild bird life and squirrels. Everything is clean and modern. There's ample kitchen equipment and we will certainly hope to use this cottage again. The village is small but very pretty and has local amenities such as butcher, convenience store and pubs where you can get a meal. there is a bus stop and the train is about a 10min walk away which runs all along the coast. Super Little Cottage in the Heart of Snowdonia
We booked Tree Tops with the intention of having a base in Snowdonia as we intended doing some hill walking. The booking process was painless and Martin was very approachable and helpful with any queries or concerns we had prior to booking.
The cottage itself on first impressions looked very small, but turned out to be a veritable tardis inside. A well laid out kitchen and sitting room in one, all tastefully decorated leading to a lovely patio raised above the trees on stilts. The bedroom and shower were found down a steep flight of stairs and again tastefully decorated with a power shower - a must after a days hill walking.
The cottage is a short distance from Harlech and Llanbedr where there are local shops, but the main shopping area - Tesco - Aldi etc is in Porthmadog around 12 miles away.
Martin provided valuable information on where to walk and his advice on the "Rhinogs" was spot on. Two days walking in hills with no one else other than sheep and wild goats for company. We also climbed Snowdon which was considerably busier but only a 40 minute drive from the cottage.
The scenery was very similar to Scotland with no midges - bonus!!
In all a relaxing week in a lovely location would recommend it is considered for a two person holiday in North Wales.

A Snowdonia getaway in relaxing tree tops cottage (Llanbedr)
Martin and Lynn Moore have a little gem in the Beautiful Snowdonian countryside in Llanbedr Wales.
After our Journey from Belfast N.I. it was a delight to arrive at Tree Tops with a welcoming greeting from Martin. After being shown our accommodation we wasted no time in settling in for a very comfortable beginning to our break.
Tree Tops has everything you need to accommodate your stay, a well equipped modern kitchen, a bright open lounge area with a view to the sea over a lovely balcony only shared at times by quite a variety of birds and a cheeky little squirrel.
Downstairs provides exit to a lovely garden for your evening pleasure, ideal for barbecues and soaking up some sun. You have a very clean bright bathroom with a spacious invigorating shower and the double bed is maybe just a bit too comfortable at times.
The stairs are a tricky but manageable
Outside Tree Tops on your doorstep you have a number of walks or cycle routes and a particular favorite of ours was walking along to the next village along a single track road with wooded areas and beautiful countryside, listen out for the owls and look out for the Kite/buzzard hovering, then relax with a lovely meal or drink in the village before heading back, if you time it right looking across the fields as the sun sets it shows the beauty of the welsh countryside at its best.
Lots to see and do in the surrounding area beaches to walk try Harlech Castles to see, mountains to climb, Valleys to explore and villages to visit, handmade ice cream/fudge to taste and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to savour lots of delights within.
As a whole we really thoroughly enjoyed or visit to Snowdonia and Tree Tops was instrumental to our enjoyment so much so we had to extend our stay.
Martin and Lynn, they have put everything in place to help you enjoy your visit right down to where to visit while touring around.
All being well we will certainly be back
An adorable Welsh retreat tucked away high in the trees
Our stay in Treetops was just fantastic. Martin is a great host and he was so helpful in suggesting where to go, what to do and what the weather would be like.
The house itself is just adorable. It's not too small and is cosy, light and contemporary. The balcony outside the living room/kitchen has a lovely view across the fields to the river. The bedroom and shower is tucked away downstairs (stairs are quite steep) and is both spacious and snug. We used the BBQ outside too which was a bonus as the weather was lovely!
The village itself was really nice and quiet. We did a few walks around the cottage and easily drove to areas in Snowdonia such as Portmadog, Harlech and Cardigan Bay. We also climbed Mount Snowden which we would also recommend! Views are fantastic.
Treetops is the perfect place to explore Snowdonia from and we would definitely recommend it. It's lovely to stay somewhere with a twist so go and enjoy your cup of tea out on the balcony at tree level! Read more

Your enjoyable stay makes renting the cottage worthwhile, many thanks.
Really lovely accomodation, breathtaking North Wales
Having planned our summer holidays in Wales we found the "tree tops cottage” on the Internet which was very useful because we live in Germany.
The cottage is a few yards out of the village of Llanbedr in a quiet rural location. Warmly welcomed by the owner we found a quiet, clean and pleasant accommodation - perfect for self catering. The views from the balcony or garden to the sea are lovely. Situated close to the coast and same walking paths it is an ideal spot for all - walkers, sightseers or just to those who are going to spend nice days on the stunning beaches.
During our stay Martin provided us with lots of useful information regarding walking, sightseeing, cultural events and weather forecast (very helpful!!). Even special questions like about pubs with entertainment evenings - Martin will manage it!
The "tree tops cottage” proved to be the best place to start to explore the breathtaking landscapes of North Wales. We can highly recommend it! Thank you Lynn and Martin.

Very nice location
Tree tops is a very nice 1 bedroom apartment.
The living room/kitchen is well equipped, comfortable & clean.
The stairs down to the bedroom are a bit narrow & steep, but should be no problem to most people.
It is well placed for touring about but is on a quiet road with a 15 min walk / 2min drive to the nearest village with shops & pubs etc.
I can recommend a stay there for a holiday Read more

Wonderful retreat, and base for coast and mountains
Lovely house, with great open plan living upstairs, to make the most of the view across the fields (and you can see the sea in the distance). Not huge, but perfectly formed and ideal for couples. It has a really lovely modern classic feel. Everything you could need is provided in the kitchen, and linen etc. There were some lovely touches that made us feel special on arrival - flowers, fresh coffee, and bara brith. Martin and Lynn are extremely welcoming and available if needed for advice on the local area. They really go out of their way to help. Lovely village of Llanbedr nearby, the pub has a stone wall you can sit on in the garden that backs onto the river, very pretty. Beautiful long beach very close, a bit of a walk from the carpark through the dune path, well worth it. Further but easy for daytrips are Criccieth, Port Merion, Beddgelert, and Snowdon. Overall, a lovely house, in a great location, with a warm welcome.

Thank you, we're pleased you had such a good stay. Were impressed with the number of serious climbs you managed in mixed weather in one week! The sea is a bit closer when the weather is better!

Lovely cottage with all the home comforts that anybody would need. Wonderful views and wildlife from the cottage. Easy access to local amenities in Llanbedr, plenty of walks in the local area, and with easy access to Snowdonia National Park. Lyn and Martin are very friendly and helpful, and have a good knowledge of the surrounding area and places to visit.

A little gem
As soon as I saw the photo of Tree Tops I loved it and when we arrived we were not disappointed. Martin and Lynn had made us so welcome with complimentary coffee and welsh cakes! The cottage is lovely, small and compact but perfect for 2,Its finished to a really nice standard with a lovely feel to it. The balcony was a wonderful addition and as we were blessed with fantastic weather we sat many an evening, glass of wine in hand gazing across Cardigan bay superb.Theres even a little hidden garden and BBQ area too. Tree Tops is ideally situated within the Snowdonia National Park to reach such attractions as Portmeirion, Bodnant Gardens, The Ffestiniog Railway and of course Mount Snowden. This was my first visit to Wales and we had a wonderful holiday and I would most definately come back to Tree Tops its a really special place. Read more

Best week of 2010!
From the moment we arrived at Tree Tops we knew that we would have a wonderful week. This cute cottage was clean, comfortable and has an element of magic about it that you always hope for when booking a little getaway.
Martin made us feel extremely welcome the second we arrived and continued to do so throughout our stay.
The location is super and we made full use of it by going for walks, cycling and horse riding. The little village was also perfect for popping down to and getting sausages and steaks from the local butcher for an evening BBQ.
I don't think I could suggest anything to improve the cottage, owners or experience and I know that we will be back!

Superb - And that is really a total understatement.
This is the most relaxing and comfortable place that my wife and I have ever stayed.
The cottage had all the ammenities that you could ever ask for. Martin and Lynn made every effort (and succeeded) in making this a very welcoming and enjoyable stay for us.
So many lovely kind additions were found
on our arrival - some fresh milk in the fridge, some biscuits and tea / filter coffee available to make, fresh flowers and herbs in vases - we were quite taken aback at the kind thought and effort put into making our welcome and stay so enjoyable.
The localality is fantastic and for any who love the sea, mountains and nature, this is just heaven. My wife and I will be going there again and again if we can.
We are so glad that we have found "Tree Tops". If you don't go there you will have missed a real treat. Read more

Fantastic little place with everything you need
My and my boyfriend had an amazing long weekend here in april. There are great mountain biking and walking tracks as well as beautiful beaches nearby. The little house is absolutely gorgeous with so many nice little touches, such as real coffee and welsh cakes on arrival and everything you could possibly need even down to sandwich bags for picnics. Their is loads of information on places to go and to eat in the area and Lynn and Martin are so helpful and friendly and gave us lots of good advice for our stay. We will definitely be going back!! Many thanks, we are so pleased your stay was so memorable.
Treetops is found nestling up in the hills of Snowdonia amongst the trees. An idyllic holiday for 2. Surrounded by wonderful scenery and many walks taking you up into the hills or down to lovely sandy beaches below. Treetops itself is welcoming and cozy, a real home from home. It is furnished tastefully and has the benefit of beautiful views over the bay from the verandah. Can't help mentioning the amazing shower in the en-suite - somewhere to sooth away the day's activities. So many things to see and do and all withing a short distance. We had a lovely welcome of welsh "bara brith" and coffee on arrival. A lovely touch. Martin and Lynn are extremely helpful and keen to ensure that everyone has a happy holiday! Read more

A peaceful relaxing stay in a room with a view.
Tree Tops is an excellent location for a couple wanting a peaceful location for a holiday that isn't too far from plenty of places to visit. The accomodation is furnished & maintained to a very high standard and the view over the sea (which includes a lovely sunset on a clear day) from the balcony makes the outside as attractive as the inside.
Tree Tops is a short drive from Harlech with plenty of places to eat out and a small supermarket for groceries etc. The railway station is 5 minutes walk away if you want to leave the car behind and head off to a range of destinations and there's a range of excellent walks and attractions within a very short drive. Head north and you can be on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula within minutes or stay local and visit the beach at Harlech or more locally at Llanbedr or Pensarn where the tiny harbour looks lovely in the evening sun.
A lovely hideaway and a great place to enjoy all that North Wales has to offer.
The guest book in the cottage is full of comments praising the standard of the accomodation and listing so many great places to eat out you'll need more than a week to enjoy them all! (But try the Castle Cottage in Harlech for a special treat on one night of your stay!) Read more

Many thanks. Your positive experience makes letting the cottage a pleasure.
A truly relaxing break.
We really enjoyed our week at Tree Tops. Although the weather was not too kind to us at times, we had exactly the kind of relaxing break from work and domestic life we were looking for. Treetops is ideal for a couple - compact, but well-furnished, clean and comfortable. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and gave us very accurate advice about the local area. The walk to Llanbedr and back down the narrow lane adjoining the property - whether for groceries or an evening pint - is extremely pleasant and recommended. The views from the living room and balcony are wonderful as are the trees and garden within the grounds of Treetops. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, then Treetops is an excellent choice. The Perfect Get-Away
Tree Tops is the perfect get away place. The area is beautiful with lovely walks and places to visit. The cottage is in a peaceful location with great views and wildlife. It is very comfortable with all the items and facilities you could ask for. Martin and Lynn are very helpful and friendly. We have been twice now in the last 3 years (only missed a year as it was booked!) Can't wait to go back. We would recommend this place totally. It's perfect! Read more

We love guests returning as it confirms our feeling that Tree Tops and the area are ideal for your holiday.
A beautifully kept cottage in a stunning location
The cottage is compact but more than sufficient and is very well looked after, clean, comfortable and well equipped. (Note: if you have mobility issues the stairs between the 2 floors are quite steep but are no problem whatsoever otherwise). Its location is ideal, being just a stone's throw from the coast but also on the edge of the lesser known side of Snowdonia National Park by the Rhinog Mountains. This is less touristy than the area around Snowdon and as a result more unspoilt and wild in its beauty - we walked for 4 hours without seeing anything but mountain goats and buzzards. Just beware of the tight windy lanes around here, mostly unproblematic as it's so quiet but not ideal with massive vehicles! The cottage is beautiful and quiet - sitting out on the balcony looking out to sea with a glass of wine and just the birds for company was wonderfully relaxing. Read more

This unspoilt part of Snowdonia seems to delight our guests, and the cottage always goes down well.

Small is beautiful
Communication with Martin & Lynn was easy, clear and friendly throughout. Greetings and introductions on arrival were warm without being overbearing at all. Explanations and guidance round the property and its appliances were given simply but with care. The home is duplex - one enters into the kitchen/diner, sitting room off, patio doors to decking at tree top level. Luxury shower room and lovely bedroom downstairs
The home was near perfect - spotlessly clean, very comfortable (best en suite we've ever had! Fantastically comfy bed!), the views from the patio at once breathtaking and relaxing.
The location is tranquil, on a narrow road, but with easy access to main routes into Snowdonia, mid Wales, Lleyn... The nearest village is a 15minute walk - local shops, 2 inns (with very good food and friendly staff). There is a variety of quite excellent and varied walks from the doorstep.
We loved the setting and scenery - it was ideal for us as we are keen walkers who seek peace and calm on our vacations. There are many good places to eat locally, but we self catered for the most part and were very satisfied.
Best about Tree Tops: it's a home, fresh and refreshing
Worst about Tree Tops: the stairs - but then you don't book a place on two floors if you can't use stairs! Read more
