Beautiful accommodation in a quiet village. Bit out of the way of everything, which is nice for peace and quiet, but we definitely needed the car every day, which is a shame. Great local pub, good food. Very clean accommodation, warm and homely, we felt very welcome.

Cysgod owner immediately on hand to welcome us.
Outstandingly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly want. Excellent spacious shower with heated towel rail.I thank the owner for leaving plenty of cleaning items- such a lovely place warrants a few minutes of your own time keeping things neat.
Conservatory was comfortable and fun to watch the birds and cheeky squirrel from.Slept well and felt like we were not overlooked even though owners lived above.
This part of coastline is so pretty and people don't realise how good Wales is. You must visit the Butchers shop in Dyffryn ardudwy for some fantastic lamb, steak and pork.

The flat and the house were excellent. The garden was a delight. The only downside was the ceiling noise from footsteps upstairs. Most importantly, the owners were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful.

Lovely little cottage ideally suited for a couple. Comfortable and very well kitted out. Is in a convient location just off the main road but also just far enough out at the same time,so it is conviently lovatyed for the numerous places to visit within an hours drive. Local pub does okay food and beer. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

This was the second time that we had stayed at Cysgod-y-Coed,& again,so satisfied in all respects, that we have already booked for 2010.The service, the property, facilities combine to give a superb 'break environment'.The local pub, just a few steps away,is an excellent 'victualling house' &,of course, the proximity of wonderful scenery & locations puts the 'icing on the cake'. Thanks to all!

Made welcome by the owner with milk and a tin of shortcake biscuits.
Very comfortable and well equipt. We liked the bonus of a conservatory to do bird watching.
Were able to walk in the 'Rhinogs Fach'from the door step and to Shell Island. Climbed Cader Idris for our 70th Birthday treat.
We heard that the owner was thinking of selling, this in our opinion would be very sad if this happens,- 'as we were planning another visit in the Spring 2010'.

The apartment was excellent and the owners most obliging.Ideal location for our holiday. However
at that particular time of the year the large surrounding trees blocked out the sun until late afternoon. It was a friendly village.
