This lovely property is able to sleep six people across three bedrooms and offers a spacious farmhouse kitchen, a separate dining room and a cosy lounge with open fire. Standing in a quiet lane just three minutes walk from the heart of Llanberis, this is a charming, semi detached 19th Century cottage. The cottage is set in an ideal location for mountain climbing and walking in North Wales. This well-equipped property also boasts magnificent views over Mount Snowdon and is within easy walking distance of the town’s pubs, bars and restaurants and the beautiful lakes of Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris close by.

Amenities: Gas central hea...ting with open fire in sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer. TV with basic Sky package, DVD, stereo/CD player. All fuel, power & starter pack of fuel for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture, BBQ & mountain views. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shops, pubs & restaurants 3 mins walk. Note: This owner requires a Good Housekeeping bond of £100 to be paid by cheque on arrival, post dated to the day of your departure.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Flanked by two lakes - Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris – Llanberis is set against the backdrop of the Snowdon Massif and is one of the most popular destinations in the area. Walkers and climbers regularly visit this wonderful little town and use it as a starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales and ‘centre-piece’ of the Snowdonia National Park. The nearby summit can be reached by a number of trails or by the Snowdon Mountain Railway, though more energetic visitors can participate in the annual Snowdonia Marathon held every October. The town itself offers a wide range of places to eat and drink as well as a great choice of shopping. Just seven miles away is the coastal town of Caernarfon which boasts a magnificent Castle and town walls whilst close by are the exciting National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd.Read more

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Great little cottage with plenty of space for the 6 of us. Nice easy walk to the pubs of Llanberis (The Heights quickly become our 'local'). Good stretch up the hill back to the cottage for those weary legs afterwards too. Will definitely look to stay here again - in fact, possibly this June if all goes well.

  A cottage with a lot going for it which could be improved.

  The instructions for finding the cottage were spot on. However, the keyholder was unavailable for our arrival so no real welcome. The cottage was well furnished and comfortable. The main problem is having the only toilet in the bathroom. (The room where the boiler is could possibly become a WC.) Also, there wasn't a handle on the bath and some kitchen items such as a washing-up bowl were missing. Nice garden, but sadly no chairs to sit out on. There were no instructions for any appliances except the boiler and no up to date local information. As seems to be the norm, the lighting in the kitchen was very poor for cooking and no cooker hood.
  The location was very good with lovely views, but not quite home from home!

  This was a great base for a walking Holiday -one draw back with Four people and only one toilet and bathroom very congressed in mornings and on return from days out.
  Would suggest owner considers changing wash-machine area to another LOO to help.
  Great base for visits in North Wales easy to vist Canarvon and other attractions. Local resturants friendly and plenty of take aways within walking distance.
  Entrance to parking area is very tight (Mondeo Estate)reversing in is a must.
  Would go again so that is a positive.

  Ideally located for a short walk to the lake with a playground that got well used over the week. Good pub food in walking distance. Stair gate would be a useful addition to the cottage.

  Good, comfortable accommodation with all necessary facilities and equipment, except for the totally inadequate storage in the front (twin) bedroom: there is only storage space under one of the divans: this is clearly insufficient for 2 adults.
