This large, grade II listed, detached cottage in Llanberis in North Wales can sleep nine people in four bedrooms. Ynys Wen is situated in Llanberis in North Wales. The grade II listed cottage sleeps nine people and has three double bedrooms, a family room with three single beds, a bathroom, a shower room, a fitted kitchen, a sitting room with dining area and a second sitting room with an open fire. Outside the cottage has off road parking for eight cars and an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ. With Snowdon on the doorstep offering activities for all preferences, Ynys Wen is a lovely base for your group holiday in North Wales.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Llanberis is situated right at the base of Mount Snowdon and attracts hardy walkers and climbers throughout the year. This feature is enhanced by a number of festivals and celebrations all year round, such as the Snowdon Race in July and the Snowdonia Marathon in October. As part of the Snowdonia National Park, Llanberis is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, which are a great attraction for wildlife enthusiasts, walkers and ornithologists alike. If climbing Snowdon sounds too much like hard work, there is always the option provided by the Snowdon Mountain Railway.   I came up here with a group doing a charity walk and we had a great time. The house has a beautiful downstairs with two living rooms and a stunning kitchen. It is about 4-5 minutes walk from town and next to the lake. Would strongly recommend. Can fault nothing. Log fire, space, the mountains on the doorstep. Heaven.
