This enchanting self catering property is situated on our family beef and sheep farm in the heart of Mid Wales, near the old victorian town of Llandrindod Wells. It's set in its own grounds well away from the farm which offers total privacy, with well-maintained gardens and 3 lawned areas for guests use with ample private parking. Gwynfan Bungalow offers self catering accommodation in total peace and quite yet it is only 1 mile from the local village of Llanyre, which has an outstanding public house with beautiful food. Views over mid Wales to die for. The bungalow is situated halfway up the side of the hill near Llanyre, Llandrindod Wells. It is a very spaceous bungalow with 3 large double bedrooms (one a 3 single bed if required) and huge sitting room and large kitchen diner. Large Tesco store in Llandrindod Wells within 10 minute drive. Very well equiped and a lovely helpful owner. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a relaxed atmosphere after a busy time in London and we certainly found it here. The Bungalow was ideal for touring around Mid-Wales. The friendly greeting with a bottle of wine and scrumptious Welsh cakes was a pleasant touch. The Bungalow was spacious, well maintained and had everything we needed. There was more than enough room for the four of us including two teenagers. The view froim the bungalow was superb with daily viewings of Red tail Kites. Ruth and her husban were always there to help if you needed thdem but were in no way intrusive. We would highly recommend this rental.

Our second year at Gwynfan was as good as the first. Loads of space indoors & outdoors for when our grandchildren visited too.A good base for visiting the diverse & lovely Mid Wales scenery.

The bungalow is spacious & well kept and Ruth could not have been more helpful/made us more welcome. The welcoming gift of wine & mince pies was a really nice touch. With the weather as cold as it was we made the most of the log fire which made it even cosier.
The accommodation is spacious and well kept & we couldn't have asked for much more. As there were only 4 of us the fact there was only 1 bathroom was not an issue, but if you are part of a larger party it may be difficult to manage to coordinate showers.
The views from the bungalow are spectatcular and must be seen to be fully appreciated. There isn't really a pub within reasonable walking distance but as long as you take your own supplies & are happy to entertain yourselves this is totally not a problem.
I would definitely recommend Gwynfan Cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing break or those who want to use it as a base to explore the beautiful countryside.
