Llandudno is the "Queen of Resorts " along the North Wales coast, retaining its Victorian splendour, such as the Punch & Judy show on the long pier, which is also a fun place for children to enjoy the attractions or grown-ups can take a leisurely stroll.
On the Great Orme, there is the lovely country park called Happy Valley; the Dry-Ski slope; the Toboggan Run; the Underground Copper Mines; the Cable Car and Tramway, both of which run to the top of the 679 feet limestone headland and are the longest in Britain.
Llandudno is a busy all-season shopping centre with its new Parc Llandudno shopping piazza. The area offers bars and restaurants.
A variety of entertainments/business conferences are held at The Venue Cymru Theatre/Conference centre, which is located near to Buxton House B&B;
Buxton House is about a 10 minute walk ( or 2 minute taxi drive ) from Llandudno Train station and about a 10 minute drive by taxi from Llandudno Junction Train Station.
Buxton House B&B; is ideally situated for North Wales with easy access to the A55 expressway and surrounding areas. The area is also ideal for walking, cycling, golfing, short breaks and family holidays or for the bit more adventurous why not see the Snowdonia National Park.
For sight-seeing, there is the Snowdonia National Park, Conwy Castle, Swallow Falls at Betws-y-Coed, Portmeirion (Italian village) and lots more.
Llandudno and its surrounding areas, offer more than just a seaside break but can become a beautiful and interesting touring adventure for everyone.
