Exeter, United KingdomA fantastic experience for the whole family!
Left on 10/14/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This was a wonderful opportunity to sample life on a farm. All family members enjoyed the holiday and it was a pleasure to return to the charming cottage at the end of each day. I was pleasantly surprised by Cardigan Bay - beautiful, quiet and unspoilt. Both our young boys enjoyed staying on a farm but our 6 year old son in particular was inspired by his stay and the time he spent with the farmer. He learnt new skills and had a wealth of new experiences.
We also loved the dogs! -

Thank you Jinsy for making us feel home. The few days we've spent in your cottage were maybe the most beautiful days of my life. The wormth we felt despite the rainy weather, your hospitality and your smile made our short stay in the cottage a wonderful experience. We will come again one day. Thanks.

Wonderful little holiday cottage . David and Jinsy are very good hosts , very helpful and always on hand if needed. The two black labs poppy and hattie were very friendly as was molly the sheep dog and caddie the corgi. The children loved watching the cows being milked. Very good location for exploring not only carmarthenshire , but pembrokeshire and parts of ceredigion as well. Hopefully we will return again in the future.

AberdarePerfect getaway!
Left on 01/30/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Warmly welcomed and settled in including generous hamper of goodies the cottage was more than we could have hoped. What is wonderful is the quality of both the cottage itself and the interior. We particularly loved the inclusion of traditional welsh blankets, cushions and hot water bottle covers! the gorgeous pottery, dining and I loved the cow mugs! and throughout just the general finishing touches make it feel warm, comfortable and luxurious - like home from home and more.
Great location for walks and to reach the coast we would love to visit here again! -

GodmanchesterExcellent holiday on a working organic dairy farm
Left on 07/23/2011 for a stay in July 2011
The fresh flowers, home-made cake and Fair-trade hamper made an excellent, welcoming start to the week. Our hosts, including the farm dogs, were all very friendly. The farm activities did not intrude on our enjoyment (no unpleasant noise or smells) - they enhanced it as we were able to see the milking at close quarters.

Birmingham, United KingdomAmazing cottage in a beautiful area
Left on 07/18/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We booked the cottage as a last minute deal after the weather forecast made us change our minds about camping. Jinsey and David who run the farm were the most helpful hosts and recommended lots for us to do in the area. We were welcomed with a home made cake and other goodies which was such a nice touch. Would love to visit again soon.

We enjoyed our stay because we love the old cottage feel to properties. We like the rustic look and found this had lots of charm. The owner was very friendly and left a gorgeous home baked cake, tea, coffee etc.For an extra special touch there were small vases of flowers. Its a perfect location for peace and quiet but not too remote. Pub and shop close by. We would like to go again, maybe a winter stay?

The advertising for the cottage was very honest; we were expecting our accomodation to be relatively simple but beautiful, and it was.
What surprised us was the warmth with which we were included in the wider life of the farm, and the generous and sensitive hosting. We were given the perfect balance of feeling private and rested, whilst being looked after. Like everyone else in the visitors book, we very much hope to be back. -

LondonFairy tale setting for a wedding picnic
Left on 05/30/2011 for a stay in May 2011
My fiancé and I decided to get married and have a little picnic in the beautiful settings of Penyrallt. The landlady and the farmer were so helpful and lovely they even put out tables with tablecloths and bunting to welcome us and our guests (12 people) back to the cottage after the ceremony-and made some lovely wedding cupcakes to go along with our picnic theme. It was magical and exactly what I had hoped for! This aside the cottage is comfortable and has all the utensils that you could possibly need and a few that you don't for good measure-I'm thinking of the wall mounted coffee grinder which was a lovely touch. The log burner is easier to use than I thought it would be and is perfect for snuggling up after a long day exploring the surrounding area.
Make sure you watch the milking-it's an education even for adults and interesting to see where milk actually comes from and tastes like before it's been homogenised and pasteurised and whatever else the man at the supermarket does before he hands it over.
Also go and see the chickens and peafowl and make sure you pet the dogs-lots.
This is a lovely rural retreat and I can not recommend it highly enough, I will certainly be returning for multiple holidays in the future. -

We had such a lovely time, that we came straight back and booked up again for next year!! We would definitely recommend it. David and Jinsy were so welcoming and helped us plan where to go each day and it wasn't all the usual places. We can't wait to go back.
