      The perfect getaway

Left on 03/04/2012 for a stay in February 2012

Stayed at this cottage for a few days in February/March to get away from the daily house/work/house routine and it was just great, you don’t’ even have mobile reception – added bonus. We were greeted by the owner, who presented us with milk and eggs in the fridge (they were a lifesaver), and were immediately left to our own devices since he told us that we could walk pretty much everywhere. The cottage location, at the end of a narrow lane and a dirt road could not have been better. Being surrounded by forest, river and sheep is one of the most tranquil settings you’ll ever find, with plenty of good local walk routes. Inside, it has a very “home” like felling, with spacious rooms, bathroom and mezzanine with Velux windows, feather duvet, all the crockery and cutlery utensils that you’ll need for self-catering with the wood burning stove adding a special touch.

      Amazing

Left on 12/30/2011 for a stay in December 2011

This is currently our most favourite place in the UK and we've been to lots of places! Spent Christmas at Graig Las and was tempted to offer to buy it!

Amazing location and breath taking scenery. We spent Christmas day driving round the area. Heaven!

      great place to stay

Left on 12/06/2011 for a stay in October 2011

Graig Las far exceeded my expectations. The owners were on-hand if need but left us to it after giving us the necessary information. The veiws from the cottage was breath taking, although the sheep outside the window were a little much for our dogs! there are 2 pubs in the village and dogs were welcome. The food was good and plenty of it. The cottage is ideally located for days out to the beach or Snowdonia to name a few.

      Fantastic rural location, comfortable cottage

Left on 05/08/2011 for a stay in March 2011

We had a wonderful time a Graig Las. The cottage is picture perfect at the end of a bumpy farm track which has lots of sheep, ducks and pheasants running riot around it!
The owners left the loveliest eggs in the world in the frudge for us!
The cottage was warm and cosy with a huge woodburner. The bathroom was perfect. So it made the ideal place to unwind after a busy day in nearby Bala or Llanfyllin.

      Absolutely fantastic holiday!

Left on 03/03/2011 for a stay in February 2011

We enjoyed every second of this holiday. The cottage was just lovely! It was comfortable and felt like home away from home. The views and walks are absolutely gorgeous and we relaxed from the second we got through the door. The owners are thoughtful, kind and friendly and were always ready to help and chat without being intrusive. We cant wait to go again. One of the best value holidays we have ever had. Thank you!
