Bryn Uchaf is a stone built, detached farmhouse on the outskirts of the village of Llannefydd, just eight miles from Abergele on the North Wales coast. The cottage has four bedrooms (two doubles - one with an ensuite, one single and a family room) as well as a family bathroom, which makes it able to sleep eight people. Also included in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room with a woodburner and a conservatory. To the outside of the cottage is plenty of off road... parking and an enclosed rear garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Situated between the hills and the coast, Bryn Uchaf is sure to please, no matter what activities you are planning on your North Wales holiday.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

This is spacious and well appointed accommodation in a rural setting. Don't be put off by a "Street View" image of what appears to be a small scrapyard at the entrance to the property. This is only a hard working local garage on an adjoining site which caused us no problems. Try not to arrive for the first time in the dark. Access is along a network of narrow lanes which have their own charm, but could cause navigation problems. The accommodation is well equipped and spotlessly clean - a credit to its owners. For dining you have the option of a large dining table in the spacious kitchen, an alternative in a conservatory or outdoor dining at a table in a raised garden area. We were there on a blazing hot week when all doors were kept open, but the owners two collie dogs were amazingly well behaved. Never once did they attempt to enter the house and were lovely with our 11-month-old grandson. The property is a credit to its owners and we would have no hesitation in returning.

The cottage was really comfortable with good facilities, we enjoyed our stay there. we couldn't fault the downstairs accomodation. the only negative with the upstairs was that the bedrooms felt a little enclosed as the window were very small and low to the ground, so therefore, for safety reasons, only opened a little, so got a little stuffy. the biggest fault was that the owners dogs were allowed free reign of the garden - this was not mentioned in the decription of the property as we have 2 small children, they also used the garden as a toilet so we had to check it when we wanted to use it. when i contacted the owners, they seemed surprised that we didn't want to play with the dogs?
