The cottage was very well decorated and equipped to a high standard! The owner of the cottage was helpful and was around if we needed him but left us to our own devices! He offered great advice on places to go. While staying in this cottage it does feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and is very relaxing but you are only a 10 minute drive to the local village. However, we found it easier to drive to Bala which was about 15 minutes drive away but provided a lot more shops and was more convenient as we always seemed to drive through it to get where we were going! I would recommend this cottage to couples or families with children who are old enough to understand not to go near the river, I would not recommend it to families with toddlers/young children as there is a river that runs through the garden without a fence around it!! We found it quite therapeutic watching the river flow through the garden, however, I would imagine it could very stressful with a young child or toddler!!

this cottage is by far the best we have stayed in! The location was superb and the quality of the cottage and it's facilities was second to none. An idyllic location for a chill out break at any time of year

What a brilliant cottage. The location is stunning - so peaceful and relaxing. We all loved the river which runs round the garden. We also loved the sheep and lambs that visited us regularly. The cottage iteself is very well furnished, light and modern. All mod cons in the kitchen and bathroom and spacious bedrooms. Even the smallest bedroom was adequate for a child. We loved everything about it and hope to return soon.
