What Past Guests Are Saying
Lovely cottage - great location.
We had a lovely week here. Well-equipped, comfortable, warm. Great location - walking distance from the local pie shop and pub. Beautiful views over to Suilven, Canisp and Cul Mor (especially if you take a walk through the birches next to the cottage). Nice walk over the hills to the beach at achmelvich. There's a bit of a steep hill down into Lochinver itself, so might not suit people with limited mobility. But we loved it. We used it as a base for hill-walking, but it would also be ideal for families with kids as it's child-friendly. Can't wait to go back.

A lovely cottage which made a perfect holiday.
Set one mile out of Lochinver on a steep hillside this cottage is an original croft cottage within it's croft. It is a steep walk back from Lochinver. The cottage is well furnished with a well equipped and new looking kitchen. The bathroom was sparkling clean and the addition of an en-suite loo is nice. The woodburner is easy to use and kept us very warm on chilly evenings. All in all a cottage to recommend to those who don't mind the steep hill up to the cottage.
Very comfortable cottage, lovely views. Home like feel - plenty of toys so our 3 year old grandson was immediately at home. Good base for local area. Fantastic beaches nearby.
Lovely cottage in a fantastic woodland "garden"
Nice little cottage with great views over Lochinver. Set in an area of woodland with tree house and hammocks. Within walking distance of all the amenities the village offers, restaurants, pub, shops. Ideal for families probably not suitable for disabled as access is up steep ill and then grass track to front door.
Will be staying again definitely
