Sleeping six people in two bedrooms this detached cottage is in a quiet hamlet on the island of North Uist. Aird A Bhaigh is a simple detached property in a quiet hamlet on North Uist. There is a double and a single with an additional pull out bed, a shower room, kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a double sofa bed and an open fire. Outside, there is off road parking and a rear and front lawned area with seating. From Aird A Bhaigh it is easy to explore the lovely scenery of North Uist, or even catch the ferry from Lochmaddy over to Uig on the Isle of Skye.

Off road parking for 2 cars. Rear and front lawned area with seating. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. Shop 2 miles. Hotel with bar 5 miles.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Lochmaddy is a village on the island of North Uist, and is the main centre on the island. There are facilities including hotels with restaurants, a museum and arts centre, and the village is also the base for the ferry to Uig on the Isle of Skye. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  A lovely cottage in a peaceful location, great for exploring North and South Uist, Benbecula and Eriksay. The owner makes you very welcome, with a peat fire lit on arrival and her creative work in evidence in the cottage, making it both interesting and artistic. Lovely views and walks. Definetely somewhere to return to.
