An interestingly designed, split-level Nova Scotia vacation home, Harbour House has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen and a dining room. Both bedrooms are located in the lower portion of the house. The large master bedroom has direct access to the ocean and a view of the water; a queen size bed and plenty of closet and storage space. The second bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a view of the property. There are two bathrooms: the main bathroom is a 3-piece bath with a shower and laundry facilities, while the second is a 3-piece powder room with a short bath, rustic barn board walls and a stunning piece of Tudor Ti...le art work. The upper living room has a beautiful view of the harbour. A well equipped kitchen with a living/dining room space is connected to the large raised deck that extends the living space outside.
Simply furnished and decorated this house appeals to the sports and outdoor’s enthusiast: a person who is more interested in exploring the great outdoors than doing nothing in luxury. The possibilities are limitless: from Nova Scotia hiking and biking adventures to Nova Scotia beaches and bird watching. Step off the deck and take to the waters in your own kayaks. Spend the day paddling along the shoreline and exploring the bay. Take a walk down the road to the sand flat across the bay and try your hand at clamming. If you feel like venturing further afield: spend a day hiking the trails at the
Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct or take a trip to the Kejimkujik Provincial Park and explore the historic canoe routes, portages and many beautiful hiking trails in the park. Or, relax in the sun at one of the numerous white sandy beaches in the area.
After a day of physical activity, go out to one of the local restaurants or come home to your own home made seafood chowder or lobster supper and spend the evening soaking up the Nova Scotia oceanfront atmosphere while relaxing on the large deck listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean. Then, happily sink into the comfortable beds, sleep soundly and awake refreshed and ready to go on another adventure!

Harbour House is located in the seaside community of West Green Harbour.
Surrounded by trees, with an unobstructed view of the water, Harbour House is nicely secluded, but not isolated. Facing directly on to the waterfront, the cottage has a pleasant harbour view and a slipway for launching the cottage kayaks.
The nearest beaches are Louis Head Beach at about 15 minutes away and 10 minutes away is Lockeport's Crescent Beach. It’s a 20 minute drive to the historic town of Shelburne. The “Privateering” town of Liverpool is about 40 minutes away while the ferry terminal in Yarmouth is just over an hour’s drive. Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Digby and Halifax are all day trip distance.
