This semi detached former cattle shed is located on a farm complex in Johnstonebridge near Lockerbie and can sleep six people in three bedrooms Mallard Cottage is a semi detached former cattle shed on a farm complex in Johnstonebridge six miles from Lockerbie in southern Scotland. The cottage has three twin bedrooms (one with an ensuite) which with the addition of a family bathroom make it suitable for six people. The rest of the accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is off road parking for three cars and an enclosed lawned garden. Set on a separate area o...f the Lockerbie Lorry Park, close to the A74(M), Mallard Cottage is part of a group that can sleep up to 25 people.

Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, Freeview, DVD. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Enclosed lawned garden. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Bar and cafe available on site. Shops and pubs 6 miles. Note: Cottage is situated on separate area of Lockerbie Lorry Park close to A74(M), minimal noise disruption inside the cottage.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We stayed here with friends as Lockerbie was a very convenient half way meet up location. We found the cottage is more than adequately equipped, clean and we will definately look to stay here again. Also excellent for small dog as there was a self contained garden space.
