This is a quiet, comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a lovely village. It's a great location for walking up and down Nidderdale, one of the loveliest of the dales. We'd love to return. The local pubs are friendly but you need to drive into Pateley Bridge for shopping.

This cottage is great if you want a quiet bolt hole in the middle of the Yorkshire dales to get away from it all. It is a great base from which to walk or visit many of the local attaractions. The cottage is very comfortable, although it would benefit from a little more storage space for clothes. There is a good friendly pub close by, although you need to be there early if you want a meal without a long wait. Overall very good value for money.

Excellent location in the heart of the Yorkshire quite a distance from local towns the cottage is ideal for anyone wanting a walking holiday, whilst at the same time having a base to attractions such as Brimham Rocks,Fountains Abbey, Ripon Castle and the Black Sheep Brewery.
The cottage itself contains all the necessary's needed for a week's holiday. Just worth a mention that I thought that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow and may not be suitable for people who do cannot climb stairs very well.
