      Anniversary Weekend

Left on 04/25/2011 for a stay in April 2011

My husband and I stayed at Turkey Run for our 2 year anniversary with our 2 dogs and it was wonderful! It was secluded which we wanted. The cabin was really clean and the beds were so comfortable. The only thing that we couldn't find in the kitchen that we needed was hot pad holders, but we improvised. The check in and check out were a breeze which is so nice. We will be back for sure!

      Wonderful cabin

Left on 03/15/2011 for a stay in May 2010

We stayed at the Turkey Run cabin last spring/summer, and had a wonderful time. There's a cool game room in the basement, and a really nice hot tub to relax in. There's plenty of sleeping room for the whole family, and the owner really took good care of us. Old Man's Cave Chalets is the best, thank you! We will stay again!

      Relaxing

Left on 08/25/2010 for a stay in August 2010

Turkey Run is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful, secluded spot. My two teenage boys enjoyed the game room. My husband and I loved the hot tub. We liked being close to hiking and Logan.

I go back and forth on this one, almost 4 stars.

Left on 04/08/2010 for a stay in March 2010

1st the bad stuff. It rained and the hot tub doesn't have shelter so we couldn't use it all the time and especially one night when it was really raining. Also, the dvd player was unplugged for some reason or from the last visitors who stayed there so it was tough reaching up there to try to plug it back in since it's stuck to the wall. The game room's deer hunting video game is broken. I think there is a motherboard messed up inside or main video processing unit. The pool table isn't balanced so the balls roll to one corner. The ping pong table isn't a standard size, just a tiny table. The foos ball is a little unbalanced as well but still really really fun.

The big tv was nice once we got it re-assembled with the dvd player. The kitchen is an amazing kitchen and had everything we needed for grilling and cooking. The king size beds were awesome and were very very comfortable to sleep in. The pacman/sitdown game machine was awesome and super fun although it takes quarters so ya gotta bring enough quarters but it was still super super fun having that there. The hot tub was super awesome when it wasn't raining outside. The in-cabin massage was very relaxing and the massagers defintiely knew how to relax, great job!

Overall it was a good experience with a few setbacks. I'm very excited to try another cabin soon. this is my third visit and they've all be quite fun and relaxing so far.

Turkey Run Exceeds Even High Expectations

Left on 04/07/2010 for a stay in April 2010

This was our fourth and best return trip to OMCC. Turkey Run's new amenities, including the best hot tub I've ever used, game room, etc, and one of the best locations really made it great. It's nicely secluded, which is important to us. As usual the staff were great, reservations were a breeze.. we'll definitely be back.

Just a couple of notes: loose toilet seat in first floor bathroom; TV too high up on fireplace; streetlight at driveway entrance kept going on/off.

      Almost 5 stars !

Left on 03/26/2010 for a stay in March 2010

Firstly, the main office service was very kind and
helpful, they get 5 stars for sure. The cabin was
everything I wanted except for just a few minor
gripes. All the arcade machines required quarters,
they should be set to no quarters needed. The
basement smelled funky with wet spots on the carpet
so everyone had to where sandals or shoes down
there. I think a cabin that nice should have a
better sound system besides the old 1990 cassette
      boombox.

Like I said, all minor gripes. Everything else
about it was great. Hard to find Berry road at
night time, everyone got lost. Once you found it,
you're right at home with very nice cozy furniture
and beds, a big flatscreen(difficult to set up Xbox
and other features), nice wooden floors, a new hot
tub, and more. I'd definitely stay again.

      birthday weekend gone bad

Left on 02/11/2010 for a stay in February 2010

unfortunately due to the bad weather we never made it to turkey run. but the owner of the place was very nice and put us in a chalet up the hill for the night and we ended up getting a hotel in lancaster the next day due to power outage. we were dissapointed that things did not go as planned but were impressed how the lodge handled everything. we can not wait to return in the spring and give it another go. sincerely, Tiffanie Armstrong

      Thanksgiving at Turkey Run

Left on 12/18/2009 for a stay in November 2009

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving at the chalet. We did the traditional turkey with all the trimmings dinner. We found that the chalet was big enough for the seven of us and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is just secluded enough. A large herd of deer passed directly behind the chalet!

      We loved this place!

Left on 10/06/2009 for a stay in September 2009

We had the whole family here - Gram, Mom and Dad, 2 sons with wives and one single son. There was plenty of room, it was close to the ziplining and the parks we wanted to see, and the hot tub felt great. We enjoyed building a fire every night and enjoying nature. Never really got to the basement to play the games! Comfy beds!

The BEST Vacation We've Ever Had

Left on 09/14/2009 for a stay in August 2009

My husband, myself, and our 4 children (ages 11-18) enjoyed our stay extremely well. The cabin was perfect. It is very close to everything (Old Man's Cave was right up the road) and had every convenience we could think of. We are already planning on coming back next summer (and staying longer). Out of all the places we could go for vacation, we'd rather come back there -- to the very same cabin. It was that perfect.

I highly recommend this to everyone. We had a campfire at night, swung on the porch swing, relaxed in the hot tub, played games in the game room (pool, ping pong, etc.), visited the area and sights, swam in the pool, etc. We LOVED every second. We even saw a deer one morning about 4 feet from our cabin.

Words can't describe how "perfect" your cabin is. I thank you so much for being able to share such a great experience with my family. You will definitely be seeing us again!
