Great place. Our only complaints were that the plates and cooking equipment left a lot to be desired. Other than those minor inconveniences (easily remedied!) it was an outstanding experience. We'd stay with OMCC and at the Pinecone again in a heartbeat!!!

The cabin was great! We only had 1 problem and that was that the air conditioner was broke and we told the hot tub guy but he never came back to fix it. It would have been better if there were more windows to open. Not that big of deal we spent most of our time out on the deck during the day or hiking and at night it was cool enough that it wasn't an issue.
The location was great! Within 10 miles of food/stores/gas station/trails. Anything you needed.
It was definiatly a place that me and my boyfriend are going to stay at again! -

My wife rented this cabin for my 40th birthday last year and we enjoyed it so much I returned the favor for her 40th this year. We love the size and the interior of the cabin. The gas fire place is a great thing to have during the winter months. The only thing that i would suggest is a money issue. I would wait till after March to change the rates to "in season". When the rates increase, i feel like there should be an added benefit like the use of the pool, that are not able to be used until it warms up. Also might think about a savings for those who return over and over.

Our stay @ PineCone was memorable even if it was for only one night due to a snow storm and the chalet losing power. Sitting in the hot tub with the snow hitting your face was quite fun to be honest. The Pine Cone is a very cozy and inviting chalet. It is very secluded so you can enjoy your time on the deck and in the hot tub and not have to worry about the other visitors. The amenities (fireplace, hot tub) make it very comfortable. The only thing I have to say that we liked the least was the ladder to the loft. Going up was not a problem but I would not want to descend during the night in the dark. However this would not deter us from staying @ the Pine Cone. We can't wait to go back when we can spend the full 2 nights. We are definitely looking forward to it. The office people were very friendly and courteous. They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They truly care about thier visitors.
