Situated directly above Marmari beach and just a short stroll down through the olive groves, is Poseidon, a modern and beautifully finished three-bedroom villa with pool. The location makes this villa very convenient for nearby Marmari and Levrechio beaches and is only a 10 minute walk into Loggos. The nearest taverna is on Levrechio beach, a five minute walk away.

The large infinity pool on the first terrace has views through the olive trees towards Marmari beach. The pool area leads onto two further terraces scattered with plenty of sun loungers, comfortable chairs and tables for relaxation and socialising. A stone barbecue is close t...o a large table with six upholstered chairs for al fresco entertaining and eating.

The villa itself is light and airy, fitted out with contemporary furnishings. It is very well equipped with modern appliances and there are thoughtful additions, such as pool towels and a hairdryer.

Patio doors on two sides of the spacious living room lead out onto the top terrace above the swimming pool with sea views through the olive trees.

The kitchen has a pale yellow colour scheme, up to date appliances (including a dishwasher) and spacious breakfast bar. There is a separate downstairs shower room with toilet and the welcome addition of a washing machine.

Off the kitchen is a double bedroom with French windows onto its own terrace, including a table and chairs. There is plenty of wardrobe space and a big mirror above the dressing table.

Upstairs is another double and a twin bedroom which share a good sized shower room with a vanity basin sink unit. The double has its own balcony with a table and chairs and all bedrooms have air-conditioning. The best sea views in the villa are from these two bedrooms.Read more

Loggos is the smallest of the three main villages on Paxos, an enchanting, graceful old fishing port on the northeast coast. With its pastel-shaded buildings huddled around the harbour, it combines relative remoteness with an adequate range of facilities, providing an idyllic centre for holidays throughout the season.
During the day, the brightly coloured boats in the harbour offer a chance to explore the bays and beaches of the coast and their clean, crystalline waters. In the evenings, visitors and locals gather in the restaurants of the main square, enjoying food, wine and conversation late into the summer nights.
Loggos is also a good walking base, with paths leading out of the village into the olive groves inland and along the coast, while the island's other two main villages can easily be reached by either boat or local bus.

Visitors to Paxos are always captivated by its picturesque simplicity and easy pace of life. A morning stroll to the baker for fresh, warm bread, then off in the boat, or on foot, for a relaxing day at the beach, back in the evening for dinner at one of the harbourside tavernas, and a romantic walk home beneath a sky of brilliant stars.
Paxos, the smallest of the Ionian islands, is an unflawed gem lying a short sea journey to the South of Corfu. Seven miles long by two miles wide, it can only be reached by sea and so is visited by relatively few tourists for most of the year. Only in peak season do the tavernas in Loggos, Lakka and Gaios, the three coastal villages, begin to fill as holidaying families coincide with Italian lovers of Paxos.
The island's east coast is dotted with small coves and bays whose warm, clear water is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, while its tiny sister island, Anti-Paxos, reached by fast sea taxi from Gaios, offers two of the finest sandy beaches in Europe. Inland, the hills are covered with olive trees, more than 200,000 of them, which produce one of the world's finest olive oils. Walk among the olive groves in May and June, before it grows too hot, and discover the old Paxos, where goats wander among abandoned stone houses, and the ground is carpeted with wild flowers.
Little has changed in Paxos over the years, thanks to careful control of tourism and development.
