Complex has wonderful pools, very spacious and perfect for kids. Gorgeous home, very family friendly. If you have a rental car and a sense of adventure to cruise other areas of the island, stay in Loiza for relaxation at the aquatika resort. We recommend this property to all those who enjoy comfort of a hotel and intimacy of a home. Thank you.

We recently visited here and what a great family place to stay. The renter meet us right at the rental car place early in the morning, and showed us exactly where to go. Once we entered the property it was beautiful with all the pools.
The condo unit was well equipped even had a few extra items that we were not expecting like snorkeling mask for the kids and tons of extra sporting equipment in for use at the complex. Basic kitchen wear was also provided and a few extras here too, like a small cooler for day time use and a few serving platters to take snacks to the beach with.
The only down side would be that the lazy river pool area was more just a big long winding pool and no real current so you had to push your self. Also the pool in front of our unit was under testing of some sort for a few days of our stay so we had to walk to the other pools. Not a big deal just a slight inconvenience for the kids.
This was an o neighborhood, but did have a few local watering holes for just down the street that offer great local food that you would not expect being right next to the street and looking like a small hole in the wall bar area. There was also many fresh fruit stands close by so that is a great treat.
Old San Juan was about 20 -30 minutes away, but a beautiful drive if you follow the coast line and stay off the highway.
If you are looking for the non tourist or chain type place to stay, then this is it! If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all the ammenaties then pick a hotel. This is a great family friendly condo area to stay at and with the ocean and all the pools at your fingers what more could you ask for. -

I really enjoyed my stayed. Location was about 30 minutes away from san juan area and El yunque rain forest. 40 minutes away from the greatest beaches like culebra and vueques. The complex itself was very spacey and very neat and clean. I travel with 5 adults and 3 children and they love the complex. Security 24 hrs a day walking around and its a gated community. The kids love the pools not to deep and had a slide and also a playground outside for kids. Basketball court, pools, beach, bar, and more just outside the doors which was great. A shooping outlet about 15 minutes away for shopping and for food shopping. i will return in the future.
