London Guest Suites has been in business for more than 20 years. This property is offered as a comfortable alternative to a High Rise Hotel First floor walk up, modest studio apartment, above picture framing and art shop, after Dickensian style, owner is collector. Large windows in bed sitting room with twin beds, table and dining for 2, bright and cheerful decoration, interesting, slightly unconventional. Street is quiet with some traffic noise, shops and pedestrian traffic.

The studio apartment was roomy and comfortable. It has been redecorated since the above photo was taken, so it was cozier and yet more light-filled. It was heated optimally at all times. The kitchen was efficiently set up and pleasant--we cooked several simple meals during our ten days there. The beds and bedlinens were very comfortable. The bathroom was also well furnished and full of light, thanks to a large window. The only drawback was the moderate amount of street noise at night, but that is disclosed in the rental's description. It was a great home away from home, and we appreciated the welcome and helpfulness of the people who manage the place.
