San FranciscoHandy and comfortable if you don't mind some stairs
Left on 10/14/2010 for a stay in May 2010
This flat is close to Holborn Tube Station, and there is a Sainsbury's (a reasonably priced supermarket) just across from the tube entrance. It is within walking distance of the British Musuem, Sir John Soane's Museum, and Lincoln's Inn Fields, a lovely public square, and the Bloomsbury area. Red Lion Square itself has a tiny park with a tea/coffee shop that also serves sandwiches and simple meals. The flat is pleasant, with a small but nice kitchen area and a washer/dryer. The only drawback is the stairs--lots and lots of them--but otherwise it's a wonderful place to stay for one or two people. The sofa also pulls out into a bed if you have an overnight guest. The neighborhood has several pubs, good sandwich and pastry shops, and some nice restaurants. I enjoyed my stay quite a lot.
