This lovely period building is in a perfect location. Beautiful lower ground floor studio apartment, with a few stairs, has a very good quality trundle/day bed, which can be separate to make two single beds. We couldn't bring ourselves to pay London hotel rates for a room the size of this apartment, so we had to choose -- a hotel room the size of a shoe box or an apartment with room to move around (and a kitchen). This flat worked very well for us. It was in reasonably good condition, pleasantly decorated, clean, and very quiet. We'll definitely take this approach the next time we travel to London for a few days.

Our property was switched without our knowledge. The taxi driver took us to what we thought was an incorrect address. He knew nothing about the switch. It took many phone calls to get someone who knew about the switch. The new property, while very centrally and conveniently located, was directly above a wine bar with music. The music went until midnight every night. Although supposedly more expensive, the new flat was not cleared with us before arrival and not explained upon arrival.
